Foundations

BlindSquare’s Enterprise Products includes a service known as CLS (Customized Location Services), a dataset created and maintained using a map interface (such as OpenStreetMaps, Google Maps, Google Satellite View, Google Street view) or field-collected or client supplied data. XploreNinja, BlindSquare’s latest innovative technology, unlocks access to this data on the Android Platform.

XploreNinja uses customized datasets created for BlindSquare (iOS) serving geographies where public data is either poor or not available.  Examples include Parks (urban/rural), college/university campus sites, transit services, public pedestrian malls and more.

XploreNinja, in a park setting as an example, can provide automatic (or optional) Tracking from point A to B (C, D, E, F, etc)

USE CASE EXAMPLES

PARKS

Parklands, whether Municipal, Provincial/State or National are highly interesting and desirable places for persons of all abilities.   For persons who are blind the experience and often the discovery of features is through the company of a sighted guide or group.  This, while welcomed, inhibits independence and the joys of self-discovery.  Parks operations have the highest desire to service and support all persons.  With BlindSquare’s Customized Location Services (CLS) details about the park experience is available in a form delivering location and feature-specific information using iOS (BlindSquare) or Android (XploreNinja) smartphone applications.
