Campus Reopening: Frequently Asked Questions
- Transcript Requests: If you need your transcript sent to a college, please send your request to Mr. Rodarte by Thursday, November 19th. *We do not send transcripts to UCs or CSUs.
- What is my State ID #: As a private school, we do not have State Student ID numbers. If you come across this, just leave it blank on your application.
UPDATED October 25th:
- What are the choices for students when campus reopens at Notre Dame?
- All Students will be placed in courses on campus with some courses being a hybrid or online
- Students that are immune-compromised or carry a higher risk for COVID-19 or who live with family members who have those conditions will be required to present a doctor’s note to the school and the student will remain in Distance Learning the remainder of the school year.
- Students will not be allowed to be on campus before, during, or after school hours, or extra-curricular activities to ensure their individual safety and the safety of the cohort.

- What will the schedule be like? What time will school begin and end, will they have a half-day during the week?

- Monday-All Seniors on campus 8am-2:30pm
- Tuesday-All Juniors on campus 8am-2:30pm
- Wednesday-Campus Closed for Cleaning
- Thursday-All Sophomores on campus 8am-2:30pm
- Friday-All Freshmen on campus 8am-2:30pm
- Asynchronous/Synchronous Learning Schedule TBA
- Will Tuition be different for each learning model
- Tuition will remain the same for all learning models.
- Will ND need to be divided into "cohorts" since it is a smaller school.
- We will be following all Social Distancing, County and CDC guidelines
- Cohorts will be placed by grade level and/or club/sport
- What is our current school enrollment?
- We will remain under the 575, for a safe environment for our students and faculty.
- When will we get more information about sports practices and games?
- July 20th CIF released Winter/Spring Season plans, and we continue to follow County Social Distance guidelines.
- Will my student be able to change their instruction choice at anytime?
- Students will be required to continue the same Learning Model for the remainder of the school year
- Will students and/or staff be required to show negative test results before returning to campus?
- This is currently not required
- Will students/staff be required to temperature check daily?
- How large are the classroom sizes?
- What precautions will be made so students can social distance between classes and in the classroom?
- Staggered Arrivals/Departures

- Will Zoom continue for those that can't make it to campus due to quarantine?
- Yes, unless the student/staff have a doctor’s note excusing them from continued instruction
- How will it be addressed if someone shows signs of COVID19?
- Procedures when someone becomes ill.
- Front office clerk will administer temperature checks for any student who shows symptoms of COVID-19 in the quarantine holding area.
● If a staff/student exhibits any COVID-19 symptoms or registers a temperature of 100.4 degrees fahrenheit or higher they will be immediately sent to an isolation holding area located in the main office with separate exit/entrance, until they are safe to be sent home
○ Staff Immediately Following:
- Location(s) where a person was in contact with will be evacuated immediately and remain evacuated for 24 hours. The location(s) after 24 hours will be deep cleaned and disinfected. After 48 hours this location will be safe to use.
- Professional Janitorial Company responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting
- Cleaned with electric static cleaner and the peroxide multi surface cleaner and disinfectant
- Staff need to be tested and results need to be negative before returning to work
- If Staff test positive for COVID-19, they will receive up to 14 days (or as needed) of quarantine/recovery before returning to work.
- Staff will not be expected to work during recovery
- All persons in contact with this individual will be notified by the school to be tested and provide negative test results before returning to school.
- Student Immediately Following;

- Will there be crew/someone sanitizing once or twice a day?
- Janitorial staff/teachers/administrators will clean and disinfect throughout the school day.
- Nightly cleaning will also occur
- How are you handling lunch?
- Students/Staff are encouraged to bring their own lunch.
- Prepackaged items will be sold at the snack bar.
