Friends of the Hot Springs City Library

August 26, 2024

Meeting was called to order at 3:05 pm by George.

Present: Francis Raynor, George Parsons, Josh Davis, Loretta Abbott and Starla Rice acting as secretary were present.  

Starla read the minutes from the July 22, 2024 meeting.  George entertained a motion to approve the minutes.  Josh moved that the July 22, 2024 minutes be approved.  Loretta  seconded that motion.  All members present approved.

Treasurers Report:  Beginning balance was 5701.82 deposits were 167.00.  Debits were 600.00.  Balance is 5268.82.   Discussion:  Josh moved that the treasurer’s report be approved.  Loretta seconded that motion.  All members present approved.  

Old Business: Check #362 mailed to The Printery.  George checked with the bank and the check cleared the bank August 20, 2024.

New Business:  Fundraising Ideas.

Guess the # of dog biscuits. Put together a prize

Silent Auction Christmas. Put together auction items

Silent Auction springs Valentines or St. Patrick’s Day

Starla presented -0- for coloring books.

The next meeting will be September 16, 2024.

George entertained a motion that the meeting be adjourned at 3:40 pm.  George moved that the meeting be adjourned.  Josh seconded that motion.  All members present approved.
