Community Connections- First Grade

  • Play our memory board game with a family member and share favorite moments from our year!
  • Optional: Make Rice Krispie treats (or another yummy treat)  for our last Community Connections meeting on Friday!

Nikkei Manor- Second Grade

  • Make Samurai Helmets using Origami to share with our elders during our last Nikkei Manor meeting on Friday!
  • Bring any last questions that you might like to ask our elders in our time together!
  • Make sure to upload a photo or video by 5 pm on June 1st as a part of our thank you gift to elders!

  • Read to a stuffy

  • Draw a picture from a favorite moment you visualized while listening to read aloud

  • Write a shopping list for a recipe

  • Write a note to a friend- send it in the mail!

  • Spring cleaning! Organize your toy chest or craft supplies. Categorize all the items. Can you make a graph or equation to share your data?

  • Nature Journal: spring has sprung! Get outdoors with a notebook to sketch and record signs of spring. What do you see, hear, smell, etc.?
