Dear Parents,

Another school year has come to an end!  It seems amazing that your child is already preparing to enter eighth grade.  In preparation for the upcoming year, I am sending home information regarding this year’s summer reading assignment.  The 8th grade curriculum at BCS will continue to be highly literature based and summer reading will prepare your student for the work that we will be doing in class next year.  Your student will once again be reading two books over the summer and completing a project, which is due during the first week of school.  This project will be graded and counts as the first test grade of the new school year.  I hope you have a wonderful summer and I look forward to seeing you again soon!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Noel
