• Fall has begun! Bring on the cooler weather, football, smores, jeans and sweaters!  We are in full swing in each of our core subjects.  We finished our first unit in Social Studies on Civics and Government and we will start our Science unit on Science as Inquiry.  We will explore what science is, what scientists do, how to be safe and what tools scientists use.  This week we will start Math Topic 1 and will be understanding addition and subtraction!

• Supplies Needed:  We need your help collecting supplies for a project we will be doing in our Literacy lessons.  We will be making something Magnificent!  You can help by sending in these supplies with your students by the end of this week:

-small pieces of cardboard (amazon boxes cut into side pieces are perfect)

-paper towel and toilet paper rolls.

• Thank you parents for emailing me when your children are out, late or leaving early.

• Please remember to have your child pack a snack and water bottle each day they come to school.  We fill our water bottles throughout the day as needed.

•  The lunch menus are on the Sharon website. Please make sure your child gets their breakfast before they come to the classroom.

• Your child is brought home a “remote learning” packet in the off chance that we would have a remote learning day. If you were at Curriculum Night, you picked it up then. Please only use this in the event of a remote learning day!
