Web Page Design - Intermediate
(Term 3, 2019 - Beginning Wed 24th July)
This course is designed to build upon the initial Web Page Design course and further extend student skills with a view to creating a fully functioning professional web site. Students will already have a clear idea of what type of website they want and the type of functionality needed.
Higher level design features such as parallax page scrolling, integrated Google forms and the use of anchor links will be explored. As an adjunct students will learn how to use Canva to produce professional flyers and social media graphic content to augment their site.
Students need to have sound mouse and keyboard skills and have experience using a computer. Its preferable that students have completed the Web Page Design course, however if a student has acceptable skills s/he can move straight into this course. It helps if students have an independent and experimental style of learning as the tutor is available for guidance rather than an over reliance on the tutor. It’s a “Have a Go” approach to learning :-)
Students will need to bring the following to class…
* Notepad and pen
The cost is $5 per lesson.
