Assessment

The Assessment Matrix provides an overview of all our formal assessments given throughout the school year along with links to resources for each assessment and information on who to contact with questions about each assessment.

Attendance

Campus based employees cannot use discretionary leave or local leave on the following days:

If an employee’s leave request is denied and the employee calls in sick on the

requested leave day, the employee must provide documentation of a Family Emergency,

which is a disaster or life-threatening situation involving the employee or the employee’s

immediate family. If the necessary documentation is not provided, the employee’s pay will

be docked, the employee will be considered insubordinate, and the employee will receive

appropriate consequences. Three such instances in a school year constitute excessive

absences.

When absent due to an illness or emergency, you must log your absence into the AESOP

system as soon as you are aware of the need for the absence, but no later than 5:00 a.m.

on the morning of the absence. Doing so provides the school with a better chance of

securing a substitute. Additionally, you must call your appraiser Mrs. Presswood or Ms. Willis

to notify them  of an emergency absence – NO SURPRISES.  Each day that you are absent,

you must notify the secretary by 2:00 p.m. to indicate whether or not you will report to work

the next day. You are still responsible for calling AESOP

Calendar of Events

Each employee will receive a calendar of school events during August employee in-service.  Calendars will also be distributed at the beginning of each month during PLC.

 Campus Improvement Plan (CIP)

The CIP is a living document that guides decision-making on this campus. Everyone is responsible for the implementation of this document. We will discuss the contents of the CIP regularly.

Classroom Learning Environment

The teacher is expected to establish an environment in the classroom free of clutter

and conducive to learning. Doing so serves as a model for scholars to learn to operate in an orderly environment. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

leaving each day. This makes it easier to vacuum.

Classroom Management/CHAMPS/PBIS

Research tells us that effective classroom management is the number one element of effective teaching. scholars will not learn successfully in an environment where scholars are not safe, secure and welcomed. Therefore, we will begin implementing a combination of Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) and Restorative Discipline Model in our school.

Classroom Walk-throughs and Observations

We plan to visit your classrooms frequently to interact with the scholars, become familiar with your teaching style, and take informal notes about instruction throughout the building. Per the District Expectations, Ms. Willis or myself will conduct 2 TTESS Observation and 4 TTESS Walk-throughs in your classroom during the year.  TTESS Observations and Walk-throughs will be used as a tool to help us all improve scholar learning outcomes in the classroom.

Expectations for scholar Behavior

Our School grade levels teams developed a set of school-wide scholar expectations for behavior.  These should be posted somewhere in your classroom, and should be used daily for classroom management purposes.

We will use CHAMPS to set common expectations in our classrooms and throughout our school building.

There will be CHAMPS posters in common areas for you to use to set the expectations.  Below are some resources on CHAMPS and using it in the classroom and throughout the school.

I Need Your Help (SpringWay System and Routines)/ Give Me Five:

Adult raises their hand and looks at group says “I need your help”– wait for everyone in room to raise their hand and check themselves for the following criteria:

  1. Eyes on speaker
  2. Mouth quiet
  3. Being still
  4. Hands free
  5. Listening

Final Note: “I Need Your Help” is a procedure for quieting groups that will be implemented school wide. We need your assistance by teaching “I Need Your Help” in your classes beginning day one and using it throughout the school year. The effectiveness of the teaching of this procedure will be tested immediately and regularly during assemblies.

Grading Procedures

An important part of a teacher’s job is to keep parents informed of their child’s progress.  Progress reports are sent home on the 4th week of each term.  Parents will also have access to PAC (Parent Access Center), so please keep grades current and update them by Thursday of each week.  Report cards are sent home at the end of each nine weeks.  It is imperative that each scholar knows what his or her grades are at all times.  The scholar should have a clear knowledge of how his or her grade is determined.  Their recorded grades should reflect academic progress and knowledge of the subject matter, not behavior.  scholars are to have a minimum of two grades per week in each course.   Schoology should reflect frequent assessments of what is being taught.  At the end of each grading period, teachers should check for missed assignments and verify that grades are accurate.  Mrs. Fagerburg will print all report cards and progress reports.

Lesson Plan Procedures

Lesson Plans should be a document for you to use to plan out purposeful instruction and should follow the District Pacing Guides.  Lesson Plans should be placed inside your lesson plan sleeve on the wall.  Archive all lesson plans in a binder on your desk that is accessible and easy for someone to identify. They should ALWAYS state the standards being taught, and have clear objectives, document accommodations for special identified scholars, and ELPS standards for ELL scholars.  Lesson Plans will be collected at the end of the year.

Substitute Lesson Plans should be available anytime you are absent.  Plan ahead and develop 2-3 emergency sub plans for an emergency situation.  When you have a planned absence, create sub plans to continue your classroom instruction.  PLEASE DO NOT RELY ON OUR CO-WORKERS TO PREPARE FOR YOUR DAY OF ABSENCE.  While it is nice that everyone chips in to help out in a pinch, constantly asking your co-workers to prepare items for your class in your absence makes it difficult on your co-workers to be prepared to teach their own scholars.

Sub Folder:  It is required that you maintain a substitute notebook/folder in the event you must be absent from school.  This folder must be labeled and kept on your desk at all times.   The following information must be included in this notebook:

Also, leave a reminder for the substitute to send the attendance, including absences to Mrs. Cruz.

Substitutes must not have access to confidential records such as your grade book or access to your computer.  Never give your computer password to a substitute!

Professional Development

You must complete 50 hours of professional development for the 2022-2023 school year.  If you chose to attend an off-campus professional development, you MUST complete a Leave form 2 weeks prior to your day of absence for professional learning.   Most professional development registration will be done through Eduphoria. Teachers must submit requests to be approved by the principal. It is also a good idea to keep a copy for your own records.

Textbooks

Textbooks are stored in the bookroom over the summer.  The textbook coordinator will issue textbooks to the scholars in your classes using the scanner and keep a record of which book each scholar is assigned.  The teacher is responsible for any lost or damaged textbook and may not be issued another until scholar’s have paid for the lost or damaged book.  Payment for a lost or damaged book is made to SAES and given to Mrs. Neely , who will receipt the book.  Grades will be held until fees for the lost books are paid or the book is returned.  If you need additional textbooks or workbooks, please email the textbook coordinator.

Attendance: Faculty & Staff

Punching In and Out:  Each faculty and staff member must sign in each day by 7:25 for paraprofessionals and 7:45 for teachers using KRONOS. All employees must sign out if they leave campus for any reason.  The AESOP system will be used for securing substitutes for everyone, teachers and staff.

**All leave must be documented in AESOP. **

Personal Leave:  Personal Leave –All regular, full time employees are eligible for three noncumulative personal leave days each scholastic year without loss of pay. All regular, full time employees are eligible to take one (1) additional personal leave day for which the employee will be charged an amount equal to the average daily rate of pay for a substitute teacher. Personal leave must be requested in writing in accordance with such procedures as may be established by the Superintendent or the Board. An employee may not take personal leave for more than three (3) consecutive school days at a time without prior approval from the Principal. Personal leave may not be taken immediately before or after a school holiday or in the first or last ten days of a school term without prior approval of the employee’s immediate supervisor.

Due to board policy, you must request personal leave in writing, in advance, if taking more than three consecutive days, or taking leave before/after a school holiday or in the first or last ten days of a school term.

Campus based employees cannot use discretionary leave or local leave on the following days:

*If an employee’s leave request is denied and the employee calls in sick on the

requested leave day, the employee must provide documentation of a Family

Emergency, which is a disaster or life-threatening situation involving the

employee or the employee’s immediate family. If the necessary

documentation is not provided, the employee’s pay will be docked, the employee will be considered insubordinate, and the employee will receive appropriate consequences. Three such instances in a school year constitute excessive absences.

Sick Leave:  Each employee will earn one day of sick leave per month. Sick Leave should be reserved for days when you are sick/need medical attention, a family member needing your care is sick/needs medical attention or there is a death in the family.

Professional Leave:  This type of leave must be requested in advance and must be entered in AESOP.  Also, please complete the PD Leave form for our secretary 2 weeks PRIOR to taking your leave for Professional Learning.

When You Must Be Out:  When it is necessary for you to be absent, it is your responsibility to arrange for a substitute.  Your absence should be entered into AESOP, but you may wish to call a substitute personally and enter that substitute manually in AESOP.   If no one accepts your absence the day before you are scheduled to be out, you should make every effort to call substitutes from the sub list.

Substitutes-Teacher Procedures

Substitute Folder

The substitute folder/crate must contain the following information:

Teacher Responsibilities For / To Substitute

Class Split List

In the instance a sub does not pick-up the job, classes will be split amongst the grade level grade level.  When scholars are in split classes, scholars will become a part of that split class and will do the same activities that class does. This will ensure there is no learning loss.

  Attendance: scholars

Attendance is entered on the computer by 9:30 a.m.

**If you have a substitute on any given day, they will take attendance on a printed roster provided by the office. Please make it clear to the substitute that he/she is to send the roster to the office by 9:15 a.m. The clerk will then input the information into the computer for the substitute.

Attendance records are kept for audit by the Texas Education Agency and are also directed to our Associate Superintendent for a daily attendance count. scholars may not enter the information into the computer. Teachers are the only staff authorized to enter the data.

One of the indicators of an effective school is good attendance. Our

school goal is to meet or exceed the 95% daily attendance set by the

district. Please stay informed (require absence notes) and help

encourage all scholars to be in school each day. Please phone your

scholar’s parents to check on unaccounted absences, tardiness and

conferences with parents. Notes home are also encouraged.

When a child accumulates 5 absences, the ATTENDANCE TEAM should

be notified by the teacher.  Early intervention might also be required.

Let the administration know about concerns regarding certain scholars.

Also, keep the Attendance Team informed if you notice excessive

tardiness and/or absences of scholars in your class.

Bulletin Boards -Hallways

Hallway bulletin board displays should be ready for the first day of school. All classroom bulletin board displays should align with one of the themes for the month.  Hallway bulletin boards should be changed on or before the 1st of each month. Bulletin boards (hallway and classroom) Background paper/material and border are expected on every bulletin board. Background paper should be changed out each month.  Check your bulletin boards throughout the day for hanging or torn borders, missing items, etc.  If you notice something is hanging, staple it back up.  If you notice something is missing, replace the missing item. Remember, bulletin boards MUST be presentable at ALL times.

There is a bulletin board strip under every classroom window. scholar work, rather than commercially prepared materials, is to be the focus of attention on each strip.. We must be committed to promoting excellence within the instructional program. scholar written compositions, problem-solving, scholar-made graphic organizers, and colorful artwork are expected rather than duplicate worksheets. Displayed scholar work should be the child’s best effort.

All classroom bulletin board strips must:

Computer Access and Use

Each teacher will use eTAC to keep attendance and Schoology grades.  Each teacher will be issued a touchscreen DELL laptop and all paraprofessionals will be issued a Chromebook. All access to computers will be using your Spring ISD username and password.  Your usernames and passwords should never be shared with substitutes or scholars.  Never leave these programs running on your computer when you are not using them. You should lock your workstation when you are not at your computer.  If you need assistance with technology, all technology help requests are made online.  You can access the Technology Support Request by going to your mySpringISD portal and searching Technology Support Request.

  Email

It is required that you check your email twice daily, once in the morning and again in the afternoon.  This is a key tool used by office staff to communicate to you without interrupting your class.  Please respond to any parent emails either by phone or email within 24 hours.  Also, please do not use work email for any side businesses you may run outside of school.

Enrollment and Withdrawal of scholars

scholar enrollment and withdrawal are handled through the registrar’s office.  You will be notified when you have a new scholar or when a scholar has withdrawn.

Faculty Meetings

Faculty meetings will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Mondays as needed throughout the year.  During the first 2 months of school, we will likely meet at least twice a month.  Please do not schedule appointments for Monday afternoons, as your attendance at these meetings is important.

    Field Trips

This year, each grade level should schedule at least 1 field trip that is educational in nature.

Our scholars do not always have the opportunity to participate in culturally rich activities.  This is

a great time for scholars to see some of the awesome places located in our great state!

No scholar should be prohibited from participating in a field trip due to financial difficulties.  If you have scholars that cannot pay, please see Mrs. Presswood.

All field/study trips must reflect the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). Pre-, during, and post- activities should be planned in order to maximize learning. All field/study trips must be approved at least eight weeks in advance – submit “Approval Request for Field Trips” form the principal.   Upon approval the secretary will place the field/ study trip on   the master calendar.

Teachers are responsible for making all arrangements related to the field/study trip.  To request a bus for a study trip, complete the Bus Request Form.  Buses must be ordered well in advance and the team leader should call to confirm the transportation request 24 hours before the trip. If there is a reason why a scholar may not be able to participate in a field trip, then this must first be communicated to administration. Administration will make the final decision. It will then be the teacher’s responsibility to provide alternative assignments and classroom placements if a scholar is not permitted to attend a study trip. Special Area teachers and cafeteria staff need to be informed of all impending study trips at least two weeks in advance.

No scholar is to participate in a field/study trip of any kind without the expressed written consent of a parent or legal guardian. It is the school’s policy to require written permission for all off campus trips. The permission slip must contain the following:

  1. Date
  2. Time
  3. Destination
  4. Mode of transportation
  5. Objective of trip
  6. Behavioral expectations
  7. Return time to school or home
  8. Meal arrangement

Field/Study Trip – Cafeteria Services

In order to provide the best service possible, the cafeteria manager needs to know when children will not be present to eat regularly scheduled meals due to field/study trips or any other school activities. This notification should be provided at least six weeks in advance as changes affect the ordering and preparation of food.

Federal regulations require that scholars receiving free or reduced meals not be overtly identified. In order to comply with this regulation, announce that sack lunches are available to all scholars going on the study trip. Milk must be included as a part of all lunches.

Prior to requesting a field trip, please review School Board Policies:

Campus Field Trip Policy and Field Trip Forms

Fundraisers

All fundraisers must be approved by the Principal PRIOR to the event. Fundraiser Permission Forms are available in the office. If applicable, a requisition must be submitted to the bookkeeper for the cost of items to be sold before it is ordered. Money collected for fundraiser events should be counted and receipted on the day it is received and turned into the bookkeeper. T-shirt sales are considered fundraisers and still MUST be approved by the principal.  All sales must be through an approved vendor.  Raffles are considered a lottery and PROHIBITED. A fundraiser financial report should be completed within 10 days after the event ended and filed in the bookkeeper’s office. See Mrs. Neely for paperwork.

    Hallways

Our school’s hallways reflect our work. Each hallway is to be kept neat and orderly. scholars will cooperate in this endeavor if cleanliness is taught and encouraged. The teacher is to serve as a model for the scholars.

All teachers are expected to follow these Hallway Rules at The International School At Salyers:

Lunchroom

Lunchroom schedules with lunch times will be given to each teacher.  Teachers are required to escort their class to and from lunch.  Teachers must escort their class directly to the lunch line.  Teachers must mark all scholars that are present using the lunch list provided by the cafeteria staff.  All teachers will have a 30 minute-duty free lunch and will not be required to monitor scholars, except on ½ days. .   Lunch Schedule

Money Handling and Fees

All money collected during the day must be receipted and turned in along with the receipts to the bookkeeper, Mrs. Neely, no later than 2:00 each day.  We DO NOT accept checks, Cash App, Venmo, or Zelle.

**Do NOT keep any collected money in your classroom overnight.

Parent Communication

Positive parent-school communications benefit parents. The manner in which schools communicate and interact with parents affects the extent and quality of parents' home involvement with their children's learning. For example, schools that communicate bad news about scholar performance more often than recognizing scholars' excellence will discourage parent involvement by making parents feel they cannot effectively help their children.

Parents also benefit from being involved in their children's education by getting ideas from school on how to help and support their children, and by learning more about the school's academic program and how it works. Perhaps most importantly, parents benefit by becoming more confident about the value of their school involvement. Parents develop a greater appreciation for the important role they play in their children's education.

When communicating with parents, consider your remarks in relation to the three categories that influence how parents participate. For example, are you communicating about:

Class Dojo

At The International School At Salyers, we use Class Dojo as a constant form of communication.  All teachers are expected to have set up Class Dojo and should update their class story a minimum of two times per week.  Updates should include pictures of learning, upcoming events, or a picture of your newsletter.

        Bi-Weekly Newsletter

Grade levels shall work together to develop a bi-weekly newsletter to be sent home.

The newsletter should include at minimum, the 10 day learning focus, upcoming

           dates, and homework.

        Phone Calls

Teachers are expected to attempt a phone call to 100% of parents of scholars that

are not seen during parent-teacher conferences a minimum of one time during the

school year.  If  you are sharing information about failing grades, behavior

concerns, bullying concerns, suicidal thoughts, injuries, or any other extrenuating

circumstances, a phone call should be made.  This information should not be shared

by Class Dojo, text, or email.  Please ensure you respond to any parent phone

calls by phone within 24 hours.

Parking

The staff parking lot is located in the front and side of the campus.

Handicapped parking is also located on the front and side of the campus. Avoid parking anywhere that is labeled as a towing zone. Be sure to park in spaces that are clearly marked as parking spots.

Make sure to lock your vehicle doors and check to make sure that all windows are up. Do not leave items (computer, shopping bags, letters, cell phones, etc.) in plain view in your vehicle. scholars will not be allowed to retrieve items for teachers from the parking lot.

Party Guidelines

Class parties may be held three times per year:  Winter Break, Valentine’s Day, and End of School Year.  Contributions from parents for party refreshments and decorations should be voluntary. Private birthday parties are not to be held during regular school hours nor are invitations to be distributed at school unless every single scholar in the class is invited. If a parent chooses  to send  a  birthday treat to school, i.e. cupcakes, the treat should be distributed at a time other than lunchtime so as not to compete with the cafeteria lunch (end of the school day). This treat should not take away from instructional time.

Requisitions/Purchase Orders/Invoices

A requisition form must be completed and approved before a purchase order will be given.  A Purchase Order is an order form placing an approved order for materials or services you expect to receive.  Purchases Orders must be issued and approved prior to placing your order.  Making purchases from “standing purchase orders” require principal approval.

When materials are received, an itemized copy of the invoice, signed by you as approval for payment, must be submitted to the office for payment.  Statements will not serve as an invoice. The date on a purchase order MUST ALWAYS precede the date on the invoice.

Telephone Use/Cell Phone Use

International School at Salyers Safety & Maintenance

Building Security Procedures

Please keep the window on your classroom door uncovered at all times. The building entry/exit doors and classroom doors must remain locked at all times for safety reasons.

Chaperones/Volunteers

All chaperones and other volunteers must have a background check and be board approved.  This includes Parent Chaperons who will be in charge of a group of scholars on a field trip.  PLAN AHEAD and encourage parents wishing to attend field trips to follow through with a background check.  Use employee chaperones when at all possible to avoid having to do a background check.  When parents are taking their OWN child, they do not need to be board approved.  However, this changes if they ride the bus or are assigned to watch a group of scholars.   Background checks and approval are good for one school year.

CPR Certification

If you have a CPR Certification, please notify Nurse Clark.  Your leadership on the Crisis Team may be requested, and you may be asked to help out during an emergency situation.

Emergency Notifications

In the event of school closings or other critical situations, the call system and Remind will be used to notify staff.  Please make sure Ms. Dixon has the number that you prefer to be called on for these announcements.

Emergency Procedures

Drills are held to develop safety practices and promote speedy evacuation to assigned safety areas during an emergency.  During an actual emergency or drill, personal safety depends on the way instructions are followed.  Inappropriate scholar behavior during drills constitutes a violation of discipline rules. Anyone on campus during a drill will participate in emergency drills.  You should have a flipbook of all safety procedures in your classroom.  If you do not have one, please see Ms. Willis.

     Identification Badges

Injury on Campus

Any time an injury occurs to anyone (adult or child) in your class, notify the administrator and nurse immediately.  Make sure you fill out an incident report, and turn it into the principal on the day of the injury.

Maintenance Requests

All maintenance requests should be put into School Dude so they can receive proper attention by the appropriate staff.  Please email Mrs. Dixon, Mr. Jonathon, Ms. Willis, or Mrs. Presswood with maintenance requests so they can be entered into School Dude.

Medical Emergency

In the event of a severe medical emergency in your presence, contact the Nurse and/or 911 immediately. Do your best to remain calm until help arrives.  If scholars are in your classroom, tell them to exit quickly into the hallway, and for a scholar to get help from a teacher close to you.

Medications

All medications must go through Nurse Clark.  If a parent contacts you about bringing medications to school for a scholar, please tell them to make arrangements to meet with Nurse Clark.  If a scholar shows up on campus with medications, please contact Mrs. Presswood or Nurse Clark and we will handle the situation.  If scholars need medications on field trips, Nurse Clark will provide training to the teacher(s) who will administer the medications.

Reporting Suspected Child Abuse

As educators, we are mandatory reporters of all suspected child abuse.  If a child tells you information that indicates abuse in the form of physical, sexual, mental, or neglect, you are mandated by law to report the suspected abuse to Child Protective Services.  It is then the responsibility of CPS to determine if the suspected abuse claim is valid.  Please contact Asia Presswood, Ketina Willis or Samantha Branch if you feel a report needs to be filed.

   Sexual Harassment Policy

Philosophy: The International School At Salyers School believes all scholars should receive an education in an environment free from sexual harassment or any other inappropriate behavior of a sexual nature. The International School At Salyers School is committed to  creating  a  safe,   healthy  learning environment   for all scholars that encourages respect, dignity, and equality among scholars. Thus, sexual harassment of scholars, teachers, and staff will not be tolerated at school or school-sponsored or school-related activities such as field trips or special events where the scholar is under the control of the school.

What is sexual harassment? Schools should be a fair place where people treat each other with respect. However, it is difficult to have fairness and respect when people are treated in ways that make them feel bad or  uncomfortable.  Sexual harassment  is  a form of  disrespect  that consists  of abusive, unwanted, or unwelcome conduct of a  sexual  nature.  This  conduct  may take the form of spoken words or physical acts, and may include requests for sexual favors or other intimidating sexual conduct. Sexual harassment is against the law and can result in severe consequences. The following are examples of inappropriate behavior that is not allowed and that may be considered sexual harassment:

Physical

Verbal

Nonverbal/Visual

Sexual harassment can have a long-lasting negative impact on scholars. These acts cause feelings of anxiety, fear, and shame in scholars who are targets. Witnesses and bystanders may also experience similar feelings if they think they could be harmed next.

Consequences: scholars must not participate in unwanted and unwelcome verbal, nonverbal, or physical conduct of a sexual nature directed toward another scholar or a teacher. This rule applies whether the bad conduct is by word, gesture, or any other action.  All scholars are expected to treat other scholars and district employees with courtesy and respect, to avoid any behaviors known to be offensive, and to stop these behaviors when asked or told to stop. A complaint against a scholar for breaking these rules that is found to be true will result in appropriate disciplinary action according to the nature of the offense and the SISD scholar Code of Conduct. In some circumstances, the scholar could be reported to the police.

Reporting: Sexual harassment is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.  scholars who believe they have been the targets of sexual harassment by a scholar, employee of the school district, or any third party on the campus should immediately contact a counselor, teacher, or school administrator. Anyone may report sexual harassment, and The International School At Salyers School encourages any person who has seen sexual harassment, has knowledge or belief of conduct which is considered inappropriate, or thinks another scholar may feel uncomfortable or unsafe to report the problem to school administrators, teachers, counselors, or staff members.  scholars are not required to talk about the problem in front of the person who hurt or offended them.

There is no time limit on making a sexual harassment report, but reporting the problem as soon as possible helps the school in investigating and finding correct information. Upon receiving any report of sexual harassment, a school administrator will investigate and make a written recommendation.

No retaliation: The International School At Salyers School will not tolerate retaliation for reporting sexual harassment. School staff will discipline any scholar who acts against anyone who reports an incident or who testifies or helps in an investigation. Retaliation includes, but is not limited to; any form of intimidation, revenge, or harassment, whether physical or verbal.

False reporting: The International School At Salyers School recognizes that not all complaints are really sexual harassment. Whether a particular action or incident is sexual harassment requires a decision  based on all the facts and the particular situation. False accusations of sexual harassment can hurt innocent people. The International School At Salyers School will not tolerate false reporting. If the school discovers that someone made a false report on purpose, the person making the false report will be appropriately disciplined.

Smoking Policy

Ιt shall be the policy of the Spring Independent School District to maintain a healthy environment for scholars and staff. In keeping with the concept, the use of all tobacco products is prohibited on all district property.

scholar Arrival/Dismissal of School

Field/Study Trip – Cafeteria Services

In order to provide the best service possible, the cafeteria manager needs to know when children will not be present to eat regularly scheduled meals due to field/study trips or any other school activities. This notification should be provided at least two weeks in advance as changes affect the ordering and preparation of food.

Federal regulations require that scholars receiving free or reduced meals not be overtly identified. In order to comply with this regulation, announce that sack lunches are available to all scholars going on the study trip. Milk must be included as a part of all lunches.

Prior to requesting a field trip, please review School Board Policies CNB(Regulation)

Raffles are considered a lottery and PROHIBITED. A fundraiser financial report should be completed within 10 days after the event ended and filed in the bookkeeper’s office. See Mrs. Dixon for paperwork.

Please respond to any parent phone calls by phone within 24 hours.

Please make sure Mrs. Neely has the number that you prefer to be called on for these announcements.

Presswood with maintenance request so they can be entered into School Dude.

Please contact Asia Presswood (Principal), Ketina Willis (Assistant Principal), or Sandra Hicks (At-Risk Counselor)  if you feel a report needs to be filed.
