- Afternoon - The Fine Arts Center tour is tomorrow. Students touring in the morning do not come to school before the tour. Students touring in the afternoon do not come back to school after the tour. The morning tour begins at 9:30, the afternoon tour students will be dismissed from class at 1:10.

- Veterans Day is a U.S. federal holiday on November 11th to honor all who have served in the military, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. It originated as "Armistice Day" to commemorate the end of World War I and became Veterans Day in 1954 to include veterans of all wars. The day is about celebrating and showing appreciation for veterans' courage, dedication, and sacrifices for our country. Thank you to all of those on staff and those here with us today who served in the US Armed Forces. We are grateful and better because of you and your sacrifice.

FAC Audition Workshops – Get Ready to Shine!
Thinking about auditioning for the Fine Arts Center? FAC’s Audition Workshops are designed to help you feel confident and prepared!
Who should attend:
Any student auditioning for a Fine Arts Center program who wants in-depth information about the audition process. Note - workshops are for students only; parents will drop off and pick up their child, or high school students who drive will transport themselves.
Details:
- Date: Saturday, November 22, 2025
(Percussion & Winds – Saturday, November 15, 2025) - Time: Workshops begin at 10:00 a.m. and last 1–2 hours, depending on the area of study.
- Location: Fine Arts Center, Greenville, SC
- Cost: FREE for all FAC applicants!
During the workshops, students will:
- Learn how to complete the pre-screen and in-person audition process
- Gain insight into what adjudicators look for
- In some cases, receive feedback on audition preparation
Please note: Students may apply to up to three programs, but should register for only one workshop to allow space for others.

- Students who will be attending Wade Hampton High School next year, there is an Insight Night for freshmen TONIGHT November 4th from 6-7pm in their Auditorium. Representatives from Wade Hampton and the Fine Arts Center will be present for questions.
- 11/4/25 - 11/12/25 The Wade Hampton Colorguard is looking for new members to participate in the Winter Guard program. If you are interested, look for one of the flyers posted or talk to Mr. Powell. They will be hosting 2 learning Days. November 10th 4pm-6pm, November 12th 4pm-6pm. Auditions will be November 19th from 4pm-7pm.

- 😞 If ClassLink is still down tomorrow we will run a normal schedule. Teachers, be aware of the possibility, so you can be thinking of how to adjust your plans to fit a normal No Tech Tuesday if we cannot test. Fingers crossed we're back up and rolling and can test like planned.
- Fall is here, and there is a chill in the air! If you need a blanket on your way to school, you will need to put it up when you arrive. It must be kept in your backpack all day or left in the front office until the end of the day. Blankets are not allowed during the school day. This is your warning.
- Benchmark testing begins tomorrow! Make sure to have a fully-charged Chromebook tomorrow and Wednesday. We will resume Tech Free Tuesday after testing tomorrow.

- THANK YOU DREAM TEAM! In appreciation of our Dream Team and recognition of National Custodian Day, give a huge high five to the team as you see them today. These students will play in the Region Orchestra in November with other students from across Greenville, Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens!

- In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we want you to leave your mark. See a school counselor at the T in the morning to add a tag to the bulletin board to represent your unique culture!

- Attn: 7th & 8th grade boys :: Wade Hampton Boys Lacrosse open season practice begins this Wednesday 10/1. Practices will take place at the aux site and players will need to have all bigteams forms completed and approved before practicing. Email Coach Barstow for more information.

- Intramural Reminders: The doors will lock at 8:00. Eat breakfast before coming to the gym. No one should be going into the cafeteria after intramurals.
There will be a sweep of the gym after the first game. Students that are not playing are being asked to leave and go to their hallways. It takes away from the students that are wanting to play because we are having to monitor the bleachers with big groups that want to stay on devices, dance, tik tok, etc. Students should only come to intramurals if they are wanting to play.
