Dear Westwood residents,

As you know, the Westwood School Committee is working to address critical needs in our older school facilities. In cooperation with the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA), we are in the midst of a Feasibility Study to determine a plan for the size, scope, design, and cost of an elementary school building project.

As you may recall, on January 23, we held a Community Forum at which the project architects presented 15 different options for the MSBA/Westwood school building project. If you were not able to attend the Community Forum, you may view it online. At this time, the School Building Committee is considering a potential short list of those options. We would like to invite you to join us for another community forum on Monday, March 2 at 7pm in the Thurston Middle School cafeteria, where we will present this short list of options and also provide an update on the next steps in the process.
