IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS |
Extracurricular and Co-Curricular Activities:
I would like to remind everyone that SFUSD students have to be eligible to participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities. These activities may include but are not limited to field trips, department showcases and performances, school dances, athletics, etc.
Student and Family Handbook policy 4.7.1 says “To be eligible to participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities, students in grades 7-12 must demonstrate satisfactory educational progress in the previous grading period, including but not limited to: (1) Maintenance of a minimum of 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in all enrolled classes; (2) Maintenance of minimum progress toward meeting high school graduation requirements.” RASOTA students will be required to adhere to this policy. High school graduation requirements include passing all A-G classes/being in good academic standing. A refined RASOTA policy is in the works and will be rolled out soon.

Update Student Name and/or Gender Marker in SFUSD Systems → SFUSD affirms all students’ right to be addressed by the name and pronoun that reflects who they say they are at school. Students who, because of their gender identity or cultural experience, use a name and/or gender marker different from those given at birth, AND want to have this information included in an SFUSD system can review this document on how to update a students name and/or gender marker in SFUSD systems.
