Please Review These Notes & Safety Tips with Your Child

We strongly recommend:

Chaperone children in grades K-2

Organize with neighbors and friends to walk or ride together

Cross at one of the designated crossings with crossing guard

Wear a helmet if you are riding a bike or scooter

Morning Meet Up locations:

Have your child join a group at one of the designated “Meet Up” locations.

There will be an adult chaperone with these groups.

Please note, this meet up is only available in the morning.

Admission:

Any students who need to park a bike or scooter should go to the kindergarten playground where vehicles will be stored throughout the day.

Grab n Go snacks will be available at the kindergarten playground for participants.

Dismissal:

Chaperones will not be provided at dismissal.

Plan for the trip home from school.

Bike Riders and Scooters:

Determine a route in advance and try it out.

Discuss whether (and where) your child will be riding on sidewalks or streets.

Review riding and street crossing safety.  

Make sure helmets fit, tires are full, seats are the right height the night before!
