About the Orchard

Typical Herefordshire fertile clay soil. Fruit from 2 orchards planted by ourselves with trees now 10 to 15 years old, on traditional pyro communis rootstock and more contemporary pyro dwarf rootstock.

Vintage Conditions & Harvest

Very hot summer with extended dry periods. High sugar levels and very low sorbitol (unfermentable sugar).
