Dyl Music NFT: Limited License & Usage Privileges

This is an initial version of the Dyl NFT Limited License for NFT Collectors to use Dyl music within their own creative works. Dyl Music NFTs include a Limited License for Usage Privileges outlined here. This License is constantly evolving and this is a preliminary version. The Dyl NFT Community has access to Music Downloads. We allow Non-Profit & some For-Profit use cases.

Non-Profit Use Cases

Music is free to use for Tiktok, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram, Videos, and Social Media.

Anyone is welcome to use the music for videos, promotional use, not-for-profit use, and other use cases that do not seek to directly profit from the use of the Masters or underlying Publishing Rights associated with the song. This permits positive, non-offensive and non-exploitative use cases. Use is permitted on social media or other similar uses that are not paid placements or otherwise profiting from the underlying music itself. Collaborations, promotional videos, or use within your content is acceptable. Music NFT Collectors do not receive rights to the underlying Masters and Publishing at this time. We reserve the right to change any and all of the privileges associated with the Limited License at any time. This includes revoking access from any user who is found to be misusing our License or misrepresenting the Dyl NFT brand.  

Pre-Approved For-Profit Use Cases

Music can be used by collectors FOR PROFIT in use cases such as: NFT Collaboration, Web3 Apps, Promotional Videos, Community Videos, and other blockchain monetized use cases. Pre-Approved usage rights are reserved for NFT Collectors who do not seek to directly profit from the underlying Masters or Publishing.

We are also allowing new collectors to use the music in collaborations to get their initial funding and purchase the Dyl NFTs for access to this license. We would never come after a small artist trying to: create something positive, do it right and build together with the community. We will only prevent a use case that we view as exploitative or otherwise negative for the Dyl NFT community.
