Library Report

To Town Council

1. Services to the Public: Knit Wit 1pm on Fridays for the month of July. Paper crafts start at 1pm on Saturdays. Materials are provided. The book discussion group will discuss Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt Thursday July 10, 2025. Books in Search of Kids is in the park at the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays. There will be no special programming for July and August however the library will host a Sky Celebration, Produce Exchange and Healer’s Gathering on Saturday August 9, 2025 on the lawn behind the library.

2. Collections: The summer Make an Offer book sale has started.

3. Technology: We will be replacing 7 of our computers before October.

General Administrative Business: Library staff spent the last week of June cleaning shelves and sorting through materials.

The library board will meet at the library Wednesday July 16, 2025 at 5pm for their monthly meeting.
