Upcoming Patch 18.2: BG

NEW FEATURE – BATTLEGROUNDS PARTIES

With the introduction of Battlegrounds Parties on September 8, players will be able to queue up for Battlegrounds matches with more than one other player! Battlegrounds Parties will allow groups of players to queue Battlegrounds together, and it supports a full lobby for private games!

Here’s how it works:

• Up to 4 players will be able to queue for a normal ranked Battlegrounds match together.
• Once the group lobby exceeds 4 players, the game type will automatically switch to a private Battlegrounds match for 5-8 players.
• Climb in rating with a handful of friends or invite the whole family to determine, once and for all, who is the true Battlegrounds pro of the bunch!

Scholomance has descended upon us and the thing I have noticed is how powerful all the decks are.

Gone are the days of intricate minion trading and mana costs actually staying the same. This isn’t a bad thing , I just would like to be more prepared for each matchup.

So instead of a sideboard or a ladder ban , I have come up with a concept............

TRI LISTS!!!

At the start of each game, each player's class pops up and we go to the mulligan. With the TRI LIST system you get a choice of 3 decks from your class after seeing what your opponent is playing.

Playing a Warlock and see a priest ...... I think I’ll pick questlock. A hunter pops up .......lets race with Zoo.

I think this system would allow for a greater depth of play while keeping the flow Hearthstone intact. It could also make nerfs less frequent or create mini metas between classes.

Howdy chickens!

The Battlegrounds discussions on the show were quite difficult to follow for me, as I didn't know the heroes and minions well enough, not having played since the early days, especially with all the changes and additions they made.

That said, after the recent episodes I was kinda intrigued and got back into it over the weekend. Turns out that it's a lot of fun, and it's actually more appealing to me than it was at the beginning. I also love

stats, so the HS replay deck tracker contributes to my enjoyment quite significantly. Might actually stick to it and get the tavern pass to increase my chances to try out all the heroes.

Looking back, one of the things that made me stop playing was the fact it was called "beta", and I would rather wait until it's done, in order not to waste my time learning about heroes and cards that would be

subject to change. As it turns out they just keep making changes but it's probably necessary to keep things fresh. I wonder if the game mode will ever have an "official release", or if they will just silently

remove the word "beta" sometime. What do you guys think?
