2024-2025 Baldwin USD 348 Return to School Practices

USD 348 continues to be committed to providing a safe environment for all students and staff and to effectively help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases in order to keep our schools open and safe for in-person learning.

USD 348 asks families to monitor for COVID-19 symptoms (fever, runny nose, cough, sore throat, hoarseness, headaches, muscle pain, fatigue) as well as other infectious disease symptoms before sending a student to school.

Passive Contract Tracing

Families are to communicate with the health services  if there is a positive case in the home.

When community levels are high, USD 348 will follow CDC’s, KDHE’s, and Lawrence Douglas County Public Health’s recommendations in implementing increased mitigation strategies for the safety of our staff and students and to be able to continue providing in-person learning.
