Calculators during Virtual Learning
TI has given a lot of options if your calculator is MIA during this time. These are all emulators (like the one I use on my computer) so they don’t have all the apps, but it has anything that would be on a cleared TI-84 CE (including numeric solver).

Virtual Calculators
This is an APP on your chromebook, not an extension. It looks like this:

Physical Calculators
For calculators using AAA batteries, prolonged storage can cause batteries to weep and corrosive white powder to form in the battery chamber. This can easily be cleaned up with a cotton swab (Q-Tip) and some alcohol. However, be careful as the residue is a mild acid and can burn holes in clothing. Once the calculator is cleaned, simply insert new batteries and it should work fine.
Rechargeable batteries (in the TI-84 Plus C SE, TI-84 Plus CE or TI-Nspire technology) should not be an issue. Just make sure to fully charge the calculators prior to first use. Calculators left in charging stations for prolonged periods should be okay. Watch for bulging batteries that need to be replaced. If you do not have access to the charging cable or a charging station, please consider purchasing a new one.

Yes! Please contact your math teacher. You will need to complete a new calculator check out form. Drop offs and pick ups will occur in the front office and will need to be arranged with both the teacher and the secretaries.
Let your math teacher know! They’ll do their best to figure it out ☺
