Caring Council presents “International Dot Day” Spirit Day
“Circle" your calendar for "International Dot Day" Spirit Day on September 15th! Everyone is encouraged to wear dots for the Town Meeting to help celebrate. International Dot Day is a world-wide school celebration of creativity and making a difference (or making a "mark!") inspired by Peter H. Reynolds's book, The Dot. Questions? Contact Mrs. Locke (email@example.com).
Cultural Arts Contributions Due
Cultural Arts brings super cool performing arts assemblies to all of the elementary schools in the Westport district. This fall’s exciting show: Dance Brazil! Please send in your forms and $20 contribution by September 15th. Funding for ALL assemblies is a partnership between your contributions and the PTA… the district does NOT provide financial assistance. Without donations, the assemblies won’t happen, so THANK YOU for your support. Any questions please contact Micil Ryan (firstname.lastname@example.org).

… Stephanie Martenson for organizing a wildly successful clothing drive… over 700 articles of clothing were donated to Clothes to Kids of Fairfield County and they were very appreciative. Thanks to everybody who donated!
And a Big Congratulations to...
Mr. Eric Lawrence, our very own Westport district “Teacher of the Year” nominee, as well as all of the other nominees. SES is so proud of you, Mr. Lawrence!
