U18 Important Dates

Open to all players currently registered for the upcoming 2024-2025 season in the U18  Division (Born in 2007-2009)

The Wood Buffalo Hockey League  Program provides opportunities for coaches to improve their skills and abilities to teach players and become role models in the community,  while providing opportunities for players to learn the fundamental skills of hockey and acquired sport skills that will be the cornerstone of their future athletic development. The program will be focused on  sportsmanship, fair play, pride, self worth and confidence and learns life skills by participating in an organized team sport activity.

Pre Season Development Sessions  - August 28th - September 20th, 2024

Scrimmage / Level of Play  Evaluations - September 21st - October 2nd, 2024

Team Evaluations  - October 3rd  - October 13th, 2024

Teams released -  October 14th, 2024

WBHL Exhibition -  October 14th - October 28th, 2024

Picture Weekend - Nov. 7th - 10th, 2024 (retake tentatively Nov. 16th)

WBHL League Play  -  November 1st - March 2024/2025

Minor Hockey Week -  January 9th - 19th, 2025

WBHL Playoffs - March 12th - April 1st, 2025
