Hello Parents/Guardians -

Northwest High School has implemented a new attendance policy to increase student attendance and achievement. If a student is absent for any class without parent notification, they will not be allowed to make up the work due that day. Any work due that day will be put in the gradebook as a zero. To avoid this, please make sure to contact our attendance secretary via phone, email, or send in a note and/or doctor’s note within 2 school days of your student’s return to school.  You can also submit an absence notification online using this FORM. Please note that the Absence Notification Form does NOT excuse an absence. In order to receive an excused absence you must contact the school via phone and provide requested documentation.
