How do I access member benefits?

HERE is a short video. If you are logged in and unable to access member benefits, first make sure your organization has added you as a sub-member on the account.

My organization is a Spokes member, so why am I not receiving membership discounts?

If you don’t see a discounted price option, your individual account likely hasn’t been linked to the Spokes organizational account. To add a sub-member on the organizational account, whoever is authorized will need to log into the organizational account and add sub-members. HERE is a short video on how to do that. Alternatively, you can contact Spokes and ask to be added as a sub-member on your organization’s account.

Why can’t I renew or modify my organizational membership?

First, make sure you are logged into your organizational (company name) account, not your individual account. Only those with login credentials for the organizational account can modify the membership. If you are unsure of your organizational account login information, contact Spokes.

My Executive Director signed me up for a class, but I never received the Zoom link.

When you are registered by another party affiliated with the organizational membership, that person will automatically receive all notifications related to the event, including reminders and Zoom meeting links. We do our best to manually add attendee information for event communication as time allows, but if you haven’t received any notifications, please connect with the individual who registered you and ask them to forward details.

I want to renew my organizational membership, but it’s only giving me the individual membership option.

First, make sure you are logged into your organizational (company name) account, not your individual account. Only those with login credentials for the organizational account can modify the membership. If you are unsure of your organizational account login information, contact Spokes.

How can I pay?

When you join, renew, or register for an event, you can pay for your membership by credit card, ACH (“e-check”) or check. If you choose “pay later,” you can telephone Spokes to provide a credit card number, or you can mail a check to:

I accidentally created multiple accounts.

If you’ve created multiple individual accounts, please notify Spokes to conduct a merge. **Remember: Even if you serve on the board of multiple organizations or start working for a new nonprofit, you do not need to create a new individual account. Rather, the organization can add your individual account as a sub-membership so that you can access Spokes benefits from your individual account.

I don’t remember my username or password.

If you don’t remember your username or password, please contact Spokes. We can provide you with your username and a temporary password, which you are welcome to change.
