Converting Between Decimals and Percentages #6

Narrator: Convert 12.3% into a decimal. Recall from the videos that when we have  percent and we’re trying to convert that into a decimal that we are going to move that decimal point, two spaces to the left. Ok so in this case we have 12.3% and we’re going to move our decimal 2 spaces to the left and so that will give us .123 or 123 thousandths. Let me just make that decimal point a little bit darker so we all can see that that’s .123.
