Yesterday my mouse started to jump. it kept on clicking wherever i was hovering.

It was happening for a few days.

I brushed it off.

I shouldn't have. since yesterday it started happening so frequently that i couldn't even do my recording.

I finished my recording but I couldn't even upload it.

i told my mom and dad about the problem and they tried to fix it.

As i did the recording so good i asked my mom to make soup for me since i love it.

my mom and i were brainstorming what could be the reason the reasons we thought were :

1. Due to humidity our laptop could develop glitches
2. The glitch started happening the day my dad wiped the laptop's touchpad.
3. Ants were near my table maybe they could have gone inside the laptop

So we wiped a special type of oil on a tissue (A herbal product -  cockroaches run away if this oil is around) and placed it on the table.

We ate lunch and i said i was feeling sleepy so i was laying down on bed but  didn't feel sleepy at all so i woke up. my dad asked mom to sit by him and so my mom started cutting vegetables sitting beside him.

now to help mom i also cut and peeled and i was having fun doing this in my free time since i couldn't use my laptop. it was fun doing some house work i really had fun cutting vegetables

My hand started throbbing after cutting little piece of the skin of bottle gourd but i had fun i peeled the potato skin off and after that my dad woke up and i went to him

I was bored since i couldn't do programming or i couldn't help mom since she was relaxing

 i went to dad who was sitting by the balcony.

 we had a flippable wooden table and dad was looking at the laptop feeling bored.

i went and sat at his lap and i commented on how looking outside the window felt like looking out a train window.

my dad was showing me his blog when my mom called.

 i ran to her and she told me many ways how to fix the problem of jumpy mouse.

 i was having they said it happens on linux ubuntu it's the glitches of the touchpad.

 so i and my mom and my dad turned on my laptop

so dad gave me his laptop so that i could use it and refered to what was the mistake happening

 so we found some commands to use in the terminal to turn off the touchpad the commands are :

xinput list

xinput disable 9

Without the external mouse

xinput list

xinput disable 8

When the mouse was attached

So when we did xinput list we found all the electronics connected like the webcam the logitech mouse which here was the touchpad now in ubuntu they gave credits to logitech for making the touchpad so they named it that to give credits thats how we fixed the problem we restarted the laptop and we saw that no more mouse jumping we were so happy and we celebrated…
