Cajon uses Remind, is a text message based communication application.  If you wish to receive messages from the school, you can download and use the remind app or just use your text message app on your phone.  You can also sign up to receive emails if you do not have access to a cell phone.

Here is how to sign up:

Using the cell phones built in text message app:

  1. Start a new text message
  2. The number you will text to is 81010
  3. In the message field, type the unique code (see table below) for the group you wish to belong to.   Be sure to include the “@” at the beginning of the code.  Tap SEND.
  4. If you have never used remind, you will receive a reply asking for your FULL name.  Reply with your full name.  If you have used Remind before, skip to step 6.
  5. You will then receive another reply asking for your role, T (teacher), S (student), or P (parent).  Reply with the appropriate letter.
  6. You may receive several messages from the group right away confirming your registration into the group. If the group has more than one person on campus that can send messages for that group, you may receive one message from each Remind Group Owner for that group.
  7. You will now receive messages associated with that group.  You can sign up for as many groups as you wish.

To receive email or use the remind app:

  1. In a browser on your phone or on a computer, go to the webpage (See table below) associated with the group you want to join.  
  2. You will be prompted for your full name and your email or phone number.  
  1. If you are on your phone and just want the app:
  1. Enter your full name and cell phone number
  2. You will be asked if you want to connect your phone.  If yes, enter number, if no, click “skip this step.”
  1. If on a computer or phone and want just email or email and the app:
  1.  enter your full name and your email address (or click “Sign up with Google if you have a gmail account).  
  2. You will then be asked if you want the app and be asked for your phone number
  1. You will then see a prompt asking for your role, Teacher, Student, Parent, or Administrator.  Reply with the appropriate letter.
  2. You may receive several messages from the group right away confirming your registration into the group. If the group has more than one person on campus that can send messages for that group, you may receive one message from each Remind Group Owner for that group.
  3. You will now receive messages associated with that group.  You can sign up for as many groups as you wish.  
  4. You also have created a remind account and can create your own groups and send messages to the members.
