THE EXPERIENCE

What can I expect from Plied & Prejudice?

Plied and Prejudice is an 80 minute adaptation of Jane Austen's much loved classic Pride and Prejudice - with a big twist. 5 actors play 20 characters and try to hold the show together after one actor consumes 5 shots of liquor and does their best to derail the performance.

The show is fun, silly, and will be a hit for lovers of the books, films and people who enjoy having a good time.

Where is the experience located?

The Plied and Prejudice team has taken over The Shed, Dock C, Northshore Brisbane, turning it into an exciting,  immersive experience for your viewing pleasure.!

Address: 257 MacArthur Ave, Hamilton QLD 4007.

The venue is located across the car park from Eat Street.

Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?

This show is held indoors. However, travel to the venue from the road and car parks is uncovered. Please consider this in your travel plans.

How long does the experience last?

The performance is 80 minutes. Gates will open 60 minutes prior and we welcome you to have a drink before and after the show.

Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?

Yes, there will be small snacks and plenty of drinks available to suit your taste.

Please look at your ticket to confirm if food is included in your booking. Gluten-free options are available but must be booked in advance when you purchase your ticket. For more information, please check your purchase confirmation email.

How should I get there?

We are located in Dock C Carpark, right next to Eat Street.

Please be aware Eat Street is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and can get busy,  we recommend you allow additional time for travel.

Rideshare & Taxi

Our venue is a short 10 minute rideshare from Fortitude Valley.

We recommend you rideshare or taxi to our venue so that you don’t miss out on the drinking fun. There is a drop off point next to The Shed, between Dock C Car Park and Dock D Car Park.

Public Transport

There is limited Public Transport please plan your journey ahead of time at Translink.

Parking

There is plenty of parking available nearby in Dock C and Dock D Car Parks.

If you are driving, please drink responsibly or travel with a designated driver.

Will there be additional sessions?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee there will be additional dates. However, sign up to our mailing list and follow us on socials and you will be the first to know! @pliedandprejudice

Is there a dress code?

We encourage you to dress up to your heart's content! But fabulous costumes are not required.

Please be aware there is bitumen and some uneven surfaces in the foyer area outside The Shed.

Will there be interaction with the performers?

Yes, our performers will at times coerce you into their world. Our recommendation? Go with it and have a laugh!

Will there be merchandise for sale?

Yes, there will be merchandise hand selected for your pleasure available on site only.

Seating and chairs information:

The higher you are in the social (seating) classes, the more comfortable your seating receptacle.

Where can I get tickets?

In the Fever App, available on Google Play and the Apple Store

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

We will not have a box office on site. However, you can still buy tickets online up until the show starts. Please note, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets in the Fever App or on the Fever website.

Can I transfer my tickets to another person?

Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No, your contactless tickets will be validated at the door.

I can't find my ticket. What should I do?

You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.

Are refunds allowed? What is the exchange policy?

Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience. In such a case, please contact us indicating your ticket ID. Refunds are not permitted, except as required under Australian Consumer Law. For more information, you can refer to our T&Cs.

ACCESS

Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?

We encourage you to arrive 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to the ticketed start time to enjoy some drinks before the show starts.

At a minimum, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ticketed start time, allowing you to grab a drink and find your seat before the show starts.

Please note latecomers may not be permitted.

Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?

Pets are not permitted at this event.

Our event is operating in a unique, non-theatre space. Service animals are permitted, though we require you to let us know prior so we can ensure you and your service animal are seated in a suitable area. Please, contact hello@woodwardproductions.com  to book your tickets.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, the event is being held in an accessible venue. The front row seats (Row A) are accessible as they are on ground level. But if you can’t be transferred please book the “Accessibility seats” in the left hand side of the seating map (Row A seats 1 & 2)

Do you offer carer tickets?

Guests requiring assistance throughout this experience are entitled to apply for one free pass for their personal assistant/support worker. Please contact us here. Once we receive this, we will provide you with a voucher that you can use to purchase your free carer ticket in the Fever app (based on availability).

Please keep in mind that you will need to show a regular ticket with your carer ticket when entering the venue.

What are the prohibited items at the experience? Can I smoke or vape?

Smoking and Vaping are not permitted in the event space including the surrounding areas. Smoking and vaping must be done at least 5 metres from the event fenceline.

Is the experience accessible for deaf/visually impaired people?

Unfortunately, this event could not accommodate for deaf and visually impaired persons. We are doing our best to make all our experiences inclusive and would recommend you take a look at other experiences in your city.

Will there be strobe lights?

This event won't include strobe lights.

Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?

This is a seated performance, seating will be available for every guest.

Will restrooms be available on site?

This venue has restrooms—please ask our staff on site for directions.

Can I take photos or record the experience?

Unfortunately, photos and videos are not permitted during this performance - not even with your mobile phone.

Is there a Lost & Found?

We would recommend you ask the staff at the venue if they have found your belongings. If you cannot ask them on site, please reach out via email at hello@woodwardproductions.com

Is coat check available?

This venue does not have a coat check—please do not bring bulky items.

Is there an age requirement?

The content of this performance is only suitable for audiences 18+. Customers under 25 will be required to show a valid form of ID.

Will there be an audio guide?

Unfortunately, this performance does not include an audio guide.
