One of Us Is Lying Worksheet

  1. Read the background information carefully and pay attention to the characters.

There were 4 people in a room when a confidential document went missing from inside the drawer of the room. Each individual was suspected, so they provided statements about their actions during the time when the document went missing.

Roger: I was using my laptop and did not notice anything unusual. I didn't even know a document was missing until now

Carly: I was talking on the phone with a friend. I saw the document yesterday but I have no hand in its disappearance.

Alexis: I was reading a book in the corner. I saw the document in the drawer before it disappeared.

Drake: I was taking a nap when the document disappeared so I was literally unaware. I did see it earlier.

  1. Note down the names of the suspects and their actions during the time of the incident.
