CTAC School of Ballet Presents: “Flow”

On June 7 and 8, Crooked Tree Arts Center School of Ballet students will present “Flow” at the Harbor Springs Performing Arts Center.

In years past, the School of Ballet dancers have told stories onstage that were both familiar and new for audiences. With continuing efforts to keep CTAC’s dance program fresh and current with the professional dance world, the School of Ballet is presenting an original concept by Artistic Director Heather Raue and instructor Karrie Benedict, which celebrates the movement of life in nature through dance.

Over 100 dancers, from Beginning Ballet up to Pre-Professional Ballet, will bring “Flow” to life on the stage.

“Flow” opens on Friday, June 7 at 7 p.m. On Saturday, June 8 there is a matinee at 1 p.m., and an evening performance at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at Crooked Tree Arts Center and online. Adult tickets are $15, student tickets are $5, and reserved tickets are $25. The Harbor Springs Performing Arts Center is located at 500 North Spring Street, Harbor Springs.

In support of the CTAC School of Ballet, the Arts Center will auction off an original piece of art by glass artist Ann Wittenkeller entitled “Flow.” The original work of art is on display at Crooked Tree Arts Center. Bids must be made in increments of $25, and can be placed at the front desk. The silent auction will end on Monday, June 10 at 5 p.m.
