For the syrup:

¼ cup turbinado (or natural cane sugar)

¼ cup water

2 ceylon cinnamon sticks

2-inch fat piece ginger, sliced

For the cocktail:

10 oz pear juice

8 oz vodka

2 oz lemon juice

2 oz syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

20 oz dry sparkling white wine

8 oz club soda

8 oz dry ginger beer
