All courses are 100% online and will consist of a mixture of two delivery methods:

  1. Additional Degree Requirements:

  1. Licensed Arkansas teachers must submit proof from the Arkansas Department of Education website of their teaching license with the date the license expires.
  2. Complete all required coursework with a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or above.
  3. Complete practicum and internship courses with a grade of B or above.
  4. Complete practicum and internship courses through UCA in K-12 learning environments.
  5. Complete the program with no more than nine hours of grade of C (except see item 2 above).
  6. Complete satisfactorily either the state-mandated licensure test (Praxis School Counselor Exam) or the program-developed alternative assessment.
