Partnerships for Health and Community

The Astoria Parks, Recreation and Community Foundation is a 501(c)3 whose funds provide access to health and wellness opportunities for local children families and seniors. Three types of annual events are held to fundraise for these scholarships:

Run on the River is a Half Marathon, 10K and 5K along the Riverwalk. This event draws hundreds of locals and visitors. Sponsorship levels vary from $200 mile-markers to $2500-sponsorships, with associated levels of business-promotion and marketing for donors.

Parks after Dark ($500 sponsorship) offers businesses the opportunity to personally share upcoming business promotions on the big-screen before the evening’s featured movie at McClure Park. These happen on the 3rd Saturday of June, July and August and are a great way to connect with your customer-base and announce imminent business events.

Ft. George Benefit Night is held one of the last Tuesdays in October.  This event draws locals and visitors upstairs for beer, pizza and a silent auction of fitness & sports-related prizes.  Your prize-donation will be a key marketing piece for attendees.

We appreciate your consideration and your help to support our community, families, and parks and recreation.  Your donation is tax-deductible.
