How do you remember the way to your house? Why do your arms and legs move without you even thinking about it? Your brain makes you do a lot of these things and is charge of everything.

Cerebrum

The biggest part of your brain is the Cerebrum, the Cerebrum makes up 85% of the brains weight.

The Cerebrum at only ⅛ of its size but it's a very important part of the brain. It controls balance, movement and coordination. Your Cerebrum works well when your thinking hard.

Brain Stem

The brain stem is in charge of everything the brain stem sits beneath the Cerebrum and in front of the Cerebellum.

It connects to the rest of the brain to the spinal cord, which runs down your neck and back.

The brain stem is in charge of all your body needs such as breathing, to stay alive, digesting food and circulating blood.

Pituitary Gland

The Pituitary gland controls your growth, the pituitary gland is around the size of a pea.

Hypothalamus

The hypothalamus controls temperature, it knows the right temperature that your body should be.
