I am writing because a group I am involved with - Mothers Out Front - is working to speed the transition to climate-friendly, energy-efficient, all-electric heating systems.

By March 2022, Massachusetts gas utility companies must submit plans demonstrating how they will reduce their greenhouse gas emissions to net zero. Early drafts of their work are inadequate to meet the scale of the climate crisis AND will put public health and safety at risk. This is a key moment for our gas utility companies to hear from residents and ratepayers who want real climate solutions.
