 Discovery Questions

Read Ephesians 5:1-21. How would you describe your “walk” lately? How might this passage change that?

With your family:

Walk with your children. Sometimes hold their hands. Sometimes walk ahead of them. Sometimes carry them. Talk to them about all the ways we can “walk” with Christ.

With your small group:

  1. Read Ephesians 5:1-21.
  2. What stands out to you in these verses? Why?
  3. What bothers you about these verses? Why?
  4. Discuss the self-reflection question above.
  5. Why is “walking” the image used here?
  6. How can you, as a group, help one another walk (be realistic).
  7. Given this passage, what should you do this week?

Next week, we begin our countdown to Christmas with “Christ and Word.”
