TITLE: Residential Cleaning Technician
REPORTS TO: Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position provides general cleaning duties and expectations of a Residential Cleaning Technician.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to perform each duty to company satisfaction. Other duties may be required and assigned as needed.
- Remains personable, yet task oriented in our Residential Clients’ homes.
- Responsible for cleaning assigned locations, which may include: kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, basement, bathrooms, hallway, etc. according to the task list.
- Communicates weekly with supervisor for any supplies or equipment necessary.
- Maintains honest and accurate documentation of work hours, as scheduled.
- Utilizes an electronic device to access to the work calendar and digital documents needed to view task lists or complete forms.
- Performs weekly checks & maintains work equipment in reasonable order.
- Maintains honest, ethical professionalism, with the understanding that they are representatives of Top Shelf Cleaning.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in general cleaning and how to use basic cleaning equipment.
- Punctual and manages time wisely to perform duties with accuracy and to completion.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, hold, or otherwise physically perform tasks as assigned
- Has reliable transportation necessary to arrive to and from the job site.
- Knowledge of, the ability to read and adhere to rules regarding cleaning safety and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to effectively communicate with the supervisor, in a timely manner.
- The ability to read company and/or assigned home policies, procedures/practices.
- Performs work accurately and independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to any modifications/changes when necessary for quality work.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- Speaks, reads and writes basic English
- Has a portable device capable of connecting to wifi for communication.
- Communicates effectively with other employees, supervisors, and the public.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Understands and effectively carries out verbal and written instructions.
- Uses critical thinking to deal with a variety of situations and problem solving.
- Thinks independently, maintains self-control, and adapts to the needs of the job.
- Ability to organize and schedule assigned tasks to meet deadlines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds. Employees need to be able to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, climb up on a ladder or stool, speak, hear, use their hands and feet in repetitive motions required to complete cleaning tasks. Work will majority be performed inside, but may require the occasional outside tasks.
