6 Disconnects

If a single Player disconnects at the beginning of a round (prior to any Player’s being killed, rings being captured or a power weapon being picked up), Teams should attempt to return to their spawns and allow the Player to reconnect. Once the Player reconnects, Arena Admins for both teams should communicate to agree on an in-game time to begin play.

If more than one Player disconnects, or a Player disconnects after another Player has been killed, a ring has been captured or a power weapon has been picked up, the process is as follows:

  1. Round is to be finished with the Players still in the lobby.
  2. At the end of the round, Teams are required to take a screenshot or video of the scoreboard and the overhead map with the current weapon placements.
  3. At the start of the next round, the host is to return all Players to the Lobby.
  4. Once all Players have entered the lobby and the game has been launched, Teams should recreate the weapon placements and round score through to the round the Player(s) disconnected. The COG team should dominate each round by capturing all three rings until they’ve reached the correct round score, then the Swarm team. Please note that weapon selections made following the round Player(s) disconnected are not considered “current” and can be changed. Only weapon placements made prior to the round Player(s) disconnected must be honored.
  5. At the start of the next round, Players should kill one another using friendly fire until every Player has one more life than they did at the end of the round before the restart. In the event Teams cannot confirm or agree upon the lives remaining for any given Player, that Player is to begin with 3 lives.

Once both Teams are ready, Arena Admins for both teams should communicate to agree on an in-game time to begin play.

8 Game Specific Infractions

8.1 Illegal Skin                 Penalty: Round Loss

A list of banned Character and Weapon skins is available to all players. If a player enters a match using a banned skin, that player’s team will receive a Round Loss. The map must be restarted, and the player committing the infraction must select a legal skin.
When the map is restarted the offending team must concede a round.

To concede a round, the team receiving the penalty must let the opposing team control each point and Dominate the round.

8.2 Illegal Character Pick         Penalty: Round Loss

If a team does not adhere to the restrictions laid out in section 5, they will receive a Game Loss. The map must be restarted, and the team committing the infraction correct any errors in adhering the restrictions. When the map is restarted the offending team must concede a round.

8.3 Failure to Attend         Penalty: Game Loss

Teams must be ready to play at the scheduled times on the fixtures master document.

Up to 10 minutes may be used if difficulties occur in regard to getting players in-game. If it is likely a team is either going to be late or miss the scheduled start time, then the team’s coach or arena staff must report the fact to the representative via pre-approved discord channels (DMs or other platforms of communication are not acceptable).

If a fixture has not started 20 minutes after the scheduled start time due to a player not being in attendance on time, then that player will receive a Game Loss. After another 10 minutes that player will receive a further Game Loss.

All other players should continue through their games during this time if able.

In the case of technical issues, the representative will decide and relay the decision to each tribe. Teams will not be forced to forfeit any games due to technical issues.

8.4 Rehosts                Penalty: Game Loss

Giving an invalid reason for a rehost, or leaving the match before having approval to do so will lead to instant game loss to the player that uses it.

8.5 Unlisted Penalties

If an admin or player believes a rule has been broken and there is no assigned punishment for it, they must contact the representative as soon as possible with details and evidence. The representative will judge the case and assign a punishment if required
