For over 24 years, the National Association for State Relay Administration (NASRA) has been an advocate for Telecommunication Relay Services (TRS) promoting accessibility and quality telecommunication services to residents with hearing and speech loss. TRS is a vital service that allows an often disenfranchised population to experience independence through the use of technology. While the landscape of Relay has drastically changed throughout the past 25 years, it remains that NASRA has been involved every step of the way, lending expert advice and support to ensure that those with hearing and speech loss have the freedom to communicate effectively through telecommunication services.
NASRA is currently in the early stages of planning the September 2018 annual conference in the beautiful state of Minnesota. The conference will be held Sunday, September 9, 2018, through Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the Hyatt Regency in Bloomington, MN. Members and stakeholders will gather not only to discuss the current trends of Telecommunication Relay Services, but to also peer into to the future of what these services will look like with the ever expanding use of technology. Topics may include Real Time Text, telecommunications access for individuals who are deafblind, the IP transition and its impact on consumers, emergency services for people with hearing and speech loss, and updates from the Federal Communications Commission.
Our success in providing an exemplary conference program is dependent upon sponsors. We would like to ask that you consider becoming one of our 2018 Corporate Sponsors at “Beyond the Horizon”. As a sponsor, we invite you to join the conference not only to learn alongside of us as we explore the future of Relay, but also to network with government, nonprofit, and corporate sectors involved in the field. We have included a sponsorship fact sheet with a variety of sponsorship proposals for your review. We look forward to your support, and the opportunity to learn more about the services that you provide. Should you have any questions regarding sponsorship or the conference, please do not hesitate to reach out to Nathan Gomme, Vice Chair, at 505-796-5441 or Nathan.firstname.lastname@example.org.
