Kirk Care: Kirkwood Community Food and Financial Assistance Organization
Kirk Care is a non-profit organization formed by the Kirkwood Ministerial Alliance. Its mission is to help the needy who live within the boundary of the Kirkwood R-7 school district. It is directed and staffed by lay people from the churches within the R-7 school district. Churches, schools, individuals, and many civic organizations in the area contribute to Kirk Care with food and/or money. Kirk Care members take an active role in providing services to those in need for the communities of Kirkwood, Glendale, Warson Woods, Oakland and Des Peres.

Maplewood Salvation Army
The Salvation Army in Maplewood helps individuals who need assistance with things such as clothes, food, paying utility bills and rent payments. The Sal has a social worker available to help individuals on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 am-1:00 pm each day.

Webster-Rockhill Ministries
WRHM is an emergency social service organization with a three-fold mission: 1) Provides emergency assistance to people in need; 2) Works to create new life options for people; 3) Seeks to improve community by breaking down barriers and promoting understanding between people. In 2006, the Ministries served nearly 6,000 people in the Webster and Rock Hill areas through a variety of programs like food, clothing, medicines, etc.
