Dear Parents,

We are looking forward to the many upcoming events. Please be sure to check the Trinity calendar to stay informed.

Open Enrollment has begun for 2018-19 School Year

If you haven’t done so already, please pick up a Re-Enrollment packet from the office. Re-enrollment fee is $200.00 until February 28th ($50 discount). If you have any questions or concerns, please call the school office.

TCS Jog-A-Thon - Wednesday, February 14th

Hopefully your child is gathering sponsors. The students will be jogging on Wednesday, February 14, in the Gym. All middle school students will jog during their PE period. Since it is Valentine’s Day, students may have free dress if they wear pink, red, or purple (Valentine colors), or they may choose to wear modest and appropriate jogging apparel. Otherwise, school uniforms must be worn.

**We are in need of volunteers to help on that day to be lap counters. Please contact me if you are willing.

Valentine’s Day Exchange - Wednesday, February 14th

Students will be able to exchange Valentine’s Day cards/treats during our extended lunch on Valentine’s Day. Please have enough cards/treats for all students (27). A list of student names was shared with students via Jupiter.

Teacher In-Service- No School - Friday, February 16th

Students will not have school on Friday, February 16. All teachers will be attending an inservice. Daycare is available for those enrolled.

Speech Meet - Thursday, February 15th and Tuesday, February 20th

Students will be presenting their speech meet selections on Thursday the 15th and Tuesday the 20th.  All students need to be prepared to present on the 15th.  Please encourage your students to practice presenting to family members this week in preparation.

President’s Day - No School  - Monday, February 19th

There will be no school on this day. All facilities will be closed - please plan accordingly.


Middle School Teachers


Bible (Mr. Ortiz):

This week students will finish up our lesson on Job and begin our lesson on the Book of Psalms. There will be no scripture quiz this week, however there will be a jupiter discussion.

Language Arts (Mrs. Johnson):

Students will learn spelling/vocabulary List 18 with a test on Thursday. In grammar, students will begin studying pronouns. In literature, we will continue to study figurative language. Students should continue reading Tuck Everlasting - the book report is due February 23.

Math (Mrs.Northman):

Students will complete lessons 74 and 75 this week.  Wednesday we will review the material through lesson 75.  On Thursday students will take Cumulative Test 13 and Power Up test 13.

Math 7/6 (Mrs. Johnson):

Students will take Test 14 on Monday. We will then complete Lessons 76 - 78.

Social Studies (Mrs. Daniel):

Students will begin studying Chapter 13, “Industrial and Social Revolution,” on Monday.  Students will also be assigned a short oral presentation on a key invention, inventor, or social revolutionist from this time period.  The oral presentation will include a 1-2 minute summary of the importance of the thing or person as well as a visual aid.  *Oral Presentations are Due Feb.22-23.  Please use this link to find a topic/person as well as read the instructions for the oral presentation:


Science: (Mrs. Northman)

This week we will finish our preparation for the creation/evolution debate.  The debate will be Wednesday, February 14.  

Music: (Dr. Muntean)

Students are preparing to perform “Ode to Joy” in Chapel (Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, & Bass Guitar). They are also preparing their pieces for Easter Concert.
