Event | Objective | Logistics |
Fifth Row - Tryouts, Practice, Workshops x11 | Currently propose having slots for clubs to fill up and to ensure quality sessions Emphasis on bringing the cohort together so as to facilitate sharing among social circles established during orientation and also for disengaged students to come down in a neutral setting |
Curate the sessions into tracks/ conceptually mapped so freshmores know what sessions to go for and what to expect Budget for supper sessions
Housing x3 | HGs to helm a few events but also to get Friendzone to come down and host |
Human library/Lightning talks x3 | Informal conversations in a relaxed manner for the experiences that are less structured |
Labs x2 | Lab tours and exploration into what research in SUTD is like |
Pillar x2 | Experiencing what each pillar does and for further clarifications |
Reflections | Throughout discovery week, provide a easy to access platform for students to share what they learnt, and what excites them about SUTD |
