Each board member was presented with a letter from a Daryl Forbes who was unable to attend due to a conflict.

• Several organizations/agencies have confirmed participation
• Still looking for additional ones that benefit the community

• KASB Regional Meeting is on Oct 1 in Lawrence

6.01      Superintendent Evaluation (D)

ACTION TAKEN:  Approved the use of the Superintendent evaluation tool that was used last Spring to provide consistency.

8.01 Executive Session:

ACTION TAKEN: At 7:15pm, the Board approved going into executive session to discuss non-elected personnel matters pursuant to the non-elected personnel exception under KOMA, and the open meeting will resume in the boardroom at 7:30. Dr. Andrew Gaddis was present.

ACTION TAKEN: At 7:30pm, the Board approved going into executive session to discuss student matters pursuant to the exception relating to action adversely or favorably affecting a student under KOMA, and the open meeting will resume in the boardroom at 7:40pm.  Dr. Gaddis and Mrs. Deanna Scherer were present.

ACTION TAKEN: At 7:40pm, the Board approved going into executive session to discuss student matters pursuant to the exception relating to action adversely or favorably affecting a student under KOMA, and the open meeting will resume in the boardroom at 7:45pm.  Dr. Gaddis and Mrs. Scherer were present.
