Free Association Worksheet
Describe your current emotional state. What feelings are predominant at this moment? Think of a recent event or situation. Write down your initial thoughts and feelings about this event. Identify a positive thought you have had today. What triggered this thought? How did it make you feel? Recall a negative thought you've experienced recently. What was the context? How did it impact your mood? Are there any thoughts that repeatedly come to mind? Describe them and why they might be recurring. If you remember a recent dream, describe it. What emotions or thoughts does it evoke? Think about a situation that caused you stress. How did you react? What coping mechanisms did you use? Write down three things you are grateful for today. How do these things affect your life and mindset? Reflect on a significant relationship in your life. What thoughts and feelings arise when you think about this person? Acknowledge a fear or anxiety you have. Explore the thoughts that contribute to these feelings. How do you practice self-compassion? Are there moments where you find it difficult to be kind to yourself? |
