Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager
Job Description: Wooden Legs Brewing Company is looking for a hospitality professional to lead our Tap Room team. Our Restaurant Operations Manager is primarily responsible for day to day operations of our tap room and kitchen. This includes team management, organization and direction. The Restaurant Operations Manager assumes overall responsibility for the running of the bar and restaurant and ensures that the operations run smoothly. This position is responsible for managing the staff schedule, the coordination of event planning, imposes discipline when necessary, and serves as a liaison between higher management and the staff in administrative and disciplinary matters.
Above all, the main duty of a Restaurant Operations Manager is make sure that the bar operates efficiently and the customers are happy and satisfied with the quality of service they are receiving.
This job requires the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal team members in a friendly manner. WLBC looks for energetic and motivated workers during the hiring process. Preference will be given to individuals that are in the industry or are pursuing industry related courses.
Additional duties include helping with festival and event planning, creating or updating operational manuals, tracking budgets and expenses, and communicating with external creative service providers. May also be involved in monitoring activity and posting content for an organization’s social media channels.
Specific job duties include:
Hours: The hours required will vary based on project load. There will be a minimum of 30 hours a week. There will be some on-call hours.
Starting Wage: Starting pay depends on experience.
