  • NTSC Member-Sponsored Event – No registration fee and all are welcome!  Come on out and enjoy a ride!  Please ensure your bicycle is in good working order, bring plenty of water, sunscreen and a lunch/snack.
  • We will cycle on Saturdays or Sundays, and Wednesdays, meeting at 10:00 am (unless otherwise specified).   A typical ride will wrap up sometime mid-afternoon.
  • LOW GEAR and  HIGHER GEAR RIDES -- we have added a series of Low Gear Rides that are slower paced & leisurely, often with a pub-like wrap-up afterwards.

Meet at the Kings Mill parking lot, just south of Old Mill Inn. We'll make our way down to the lake and then head west through quiet residential streets to Etobicoke Creek.  We'll head back east along the Waterfront Trail and cycle on the new Lakeshore Cycle Track, before we return to Kings Mill Park.  Post-ride refreshments at a pub on Bloor Street.

To get to Kings Mill parking - from Bloor go north on Old Mill Trail, turn right onto Old Mill Road, then turn right into Kings Mill Park.

This ride is substantially more difficult,than any of the other Wednesday Rides!!  Meet in the parking lot at Taylor Creek Park (west of Dawes Road, north of Danforth Ave).  We will travel south to the waterfront trail at Warden Ave, heading east via quiet residential streets of the Waterfront Trail to Bluffers Park West Trail.  Continuing east to Guildwood GO station, then heading north to the Gatineau Trail via the Highland Creek and city streets. After travelling westbound on Gatineau Trail, we eventually connect at Alder Road to Taylor Creek Trail, returning to the starting point. Please bring your lunch, snacks, and plenty of water.

Meet at the Lake Simcoe Arms Pub (parking lot), on the NE corner of Dalton Road and O’Connor Drive, in Jackson's Point (near Sutton). An annual June staple, this scenic ride will follow Hedge Road east to Sibbald Point Prov Park, and then west on Lake Drive, following south shore of Lake Simcoe, with frequent lake views, before the summer crowds.  Pack a snack or Lunch, as we will stop at a shoreline park along the route. UPPER HUMBER RIVER VALLEY

Meet at Eglinton Flats Park, on Emmett Ave (west of Jane, north of Eglinton). We will meet in the south parking lot, on your left. Enjoy cycling through one of the more natural settings in Toronto and perhaps catch sight of a deer. Your trip leader (a former resident of the area) will point out some interesting features and talk about Hurricane Hazel, which hit Toronto (1954).

We will cycle north through Weston and past Hwy 401, then follow the West branch of the Humber River and ascend the Claireville Dam. Then we will backtrack and loop through subdivisions to Steeles, and connect up with the East branch of Humber River and head south, back to our starting point.  Bring lunch/ snacks/ water.

Due to Bridge construction repairs over the DVP, the start point has been changed to the above address for parking. Humber Bay Park is just West of the Humber River, will be at the southern part of the parking lot. There are multiple accesses to this park such as: from the Gardiner heading East (collector lanes) to Parklawn South, to Humber Bay Park Rd West. Or the 427 south to Brown’s Line to Lakeshore Rd West (heading East) to Humber Bay Park Rd West, parking is free.

WILKET CREEK PARK - BELTLINE - BRICK WORKS

Meet in the Wilket Creek Park at the Serena Gundy Parking Lot (NE corner). Directions: South on Leslie St to the first street north of Eglinton Ave, turn right (west) follow the road turning right (north), follow the road, it is the first parking lot on the left (west) after the stop sign.

We will cycle to the Don Valley Trail, to Pottery Rd, to Rosedale Valley Rd, to Eglinton West Subway, to the Allen Expressway.  Returning along the Kay Gardner Beltline, to Evergreen Brick Works and back to the starting point. Please bring your lunch, snacks, sunscreen and plenty of water.

Meet at Eglinton Flats Park (southwest parking lot, on your left), off Emmett Ave just west of Jane, north of Eglinton. There is free parking. We will cycle west along the Eglinton bike path to Centennial Park, and then follow the roads, trails and paths south to the waterfront. Continue along the waterfront paths and roads to the Humber Valley trail.  Return to Eglinton Flats Park.  Bring your lunch, snacks, sunscreen and water.

Meet at Centennial Park Arena (156 Centennial Park Rd, Etobicoke).  Major intersection is at Rathburn and Centennial Park Roads. Free parking on the North side of the arena. We will follow the Etobicoke Creek Trail south into Mississauga, and circle back on the Applewood Trail, in order to travel north to the airport meadowlands, before returning to the starting point. UPPER HUMBER RIVER VALLEY

Meet at Eglinton Flats Park (northeast parking lot, if open), Emmett Ave (west of Jane St, north of Eglinton, on your right). If closed travel further along Emmett Ave and find a marked parking spot. Cycle back to the closed entrance, to the northeast parking lot.  From there we’ll cycle along both the East and West branches of the Humber Valley bike trail. This is a newer cycle along the excellently paved bike trails of the two main tributaries of the Humber River, returning to the starting point.  Please bring your lunch, snacks, sunscreen and plenty of water.
