[CHAIR] Welcome to the “Thursday Speaker Meeting” via zoom, I am _________ and I’m an alcoholic and co-hosting this meeting along with _________. This meeting has a duration of 75 minutes. The speaker we have invited will speak for 30-40 minutes before we ask others to share.

[SECRETARY] Due to increased concerns over meeting security, all microphones will be muted during the meeting. When called on to share, the hosts will unmute you.

If you are celebrating a certain length of sobriety or a birthday, please type your name in the group chat room using the chat icon at the bottom of the screen and be sure it is sent to the host so we can recognize you at the end of the meeting.

While we do not accept 7th contributions for this meeting, Alcoholics Anonymous can always use our support. Please visit aa.org to find links to contribute to General Service and Central Office at both the local and national level.

[CHAIR] We will now open the meeting with the Serenity Prayer.

*Read Anonymity Statement, and Preamble* (Shared on screen)

“We have asked ________ to read How It Works” (Shared on screen)

“We have asked ________ to read 12 Traditions” (Shared on screen)

And now, I’d like to introduce to you our speaker for this evening,  ____________ zooming in all the way from ___________.

*After speaker is finished sharing, thank them, then call on others to share for 3-4 minutes each until 5:35PM*

[SECRETARY]

[At 5:35] And now it is time to recognize milestones and birthdays that have been sent to the host. *Read out all those who are counting days, celebrating milestones and congratulate them*

Read out any AA-related announcements, ask the floor if they have any.

Thank you very much for attending our meeting and allowing me to be of service... If you’d like to get involved and maintain a virtual service commitment at this meeting, please let us know. We meet at the same time every Thursday, so join us next week and make sure to bring a friend!

[CHAIR] In closing, I have now asked ________ to lead us out in the Lord’s Prayer.
