Chapter 24 section 4:  Explain when using an atomic bomb is justified or explain why these bombs should never be used. Describe why the U.S. used the atomic bomb instead of a land invasion on Japan during WWII. Was this the best idea? Explain. Describe another option the U.S. had to end the war with Japan. Include at least 3 different figurative languages label and highlight or underline them.

Chapter 24 Section 4:  Imagine you were a holocaust survivor.  Write a journal entry describing what life was like prior to being relocated.  Include many aspects of your life.  Be descriptive.  Next, include your feelings, emotions, and descriptions on what you were experiencing at the camp.  Finally include what it’s like to survive such an ordeal and explain what life will be like for your future.  Include at least 3 different examples of figurative language.  Must be labeled and highlighted or underlined.
