Eagles After School Activities / Clubs

Our Eagles After-school program runs from 2:45-4:35pm with transportation provided to students who are bus riders during the regular school day. If your child walks to school they won’t be eligible for transportation home. Students May walk or get picked up by a Parent or Guardian

 

Permission Slips for each activity can be found on the LEMS Clubs board across from the atrium in the main hallway.

Daily Schedule:

2:45 -  Student report to the cafeteria for a snack

3:05 - Students dismissed to their activities

*4:05-4:35 - Students dismissed to the cafeteria for a brief Homework help session

4:35 All students dismissed to either the bus or to walk home

*Students in Homework Club will remain with the Homework Club Saff at this time.

Yearbook:

The yearbook staff is great for students who are interested in designing unique yearbook pages, working closely with others, and creating a lasting impact on Lake Elkhorn’s History.

Step/Dance:

This club is open to all students (boys and girls). Students will learn about the history of Stepping and Dance, They explore the role Sororities and Fraternities have played in the development of stepping. Students will also have the opportunity to learn and create new choreography.

Art Club

The art club provides students the opportunity to make arts and crafts to take home. They will be drawing/sketching, coloring, painting, sculpting and building art portfolios. Students will arrange art shows  and do art related service projects. This year our art club students will be applying for status as memebers of the Junior National Art Honor Society.

Disc Golf:

Students will have the opportunity to learn a new sport and work cooperatively as a team.

Pride Time Home Work Club

This program offers homework, tutoring services and organization skill support to enhance your student’s academic performance.

Strategy Board Gaming

Students will explore various types of strategy games that are both competitive and cooperative. Ultimately by the end of 18 weeks, we will create/modify our own games to take it to the next level.

Basketball

This program offers for support students academic growth, develop their basketball skills, and nurture their ability to play on a team.
