Things Hunt Royale Doesn’t Tell You.
General
- You can zoom out in dungeons
- While in a dungeon, go to settings and turn off auto-zoom
- While you’re at it, turn off screen shake…
- You can reset your weekly quests every day for extra ad views. Just remember to finish them before the last day of the week.
- You can save weekly quests for when a season starts and get a good boost on the new season.
- 50% XP reduces the amount of XP a monster gives. This means that the buff “More XP” only gives 12.5% XP compared to normal. Getting 2 XP buffs does not get you back to “normal”. It will always be reduced from where it could have been.
- To win with a hunter quest you need to get 1st place.
- Daily challenge perks are not random. You can use your first run to fine-tune your second. You can also watch a video or ask people for the buffs if you only have one attempt.
- Excluding perks on awakened hunters will change the perks offered to you. If the first choice was XP or movement speed, and you have excluded XP, the game has to offer you something other than XP. It can greatly help or greatly hurt your run.
- You can start clan chest early by doing a long run and completing it after clan chest starts. So if it takes you 35 min to do a maze 20, start it at 25 min before clan chest and you'll get credit. You could also do a 999 co-op and finish as soon as clan chest starts for an easy afk start.
- Chest rewards:
- Regular chest can give 10 to 30 gold and 6 to 10 hunter pieces.
- Big Chest 30 to 60 gold. And 18 to 30 hunter pieces.
- Mega chest 100 to 200 gold and 60 to 100 hunter pieces.
- Victory chest 100 to 200 gold and 15 to 20 hunter pieces.
- Supporting chest 50 to 150 gold and 10 to 20 hunter pieces.
- When you sort by level, hunters are sorted by how many hunter elements you have. You can use this to make your own sorting by keeping more of your favorites to move them higher and selling hunters you want lower.
- If you look at your fuel gauge, there is a gas pump icon, and it has an arrow for left or right. This tells you what side of the car the gas tank is on.
- Damage Reduction reduces damage by 10% per perk, or 5 flat damage if 10% is less than 5. Damage reduction stones reduce flat damage if they are lower than their equivalent percent. So 10% stones reduce a minimum of 10 damage, not 5 like the perk.
- If you take 9 damage with 1 perk, you will take 4 damage (9 - 5)
- But if you have a 9% stone, you will take 1 damage (9-9) *1 is the minimum.
- The chance to buy a hunter from the shop comes once every 10 days.
- It is server-wide. If I get the option to buy a hunter today, so do you.
- It does not affect your progress for your next hunter unlock.
- Every regular, big and megabox you open gives you points towards unlocking hunters and perks.
- A megabox gives 10 points.
- A big box gives 3 points.
- A regular box gives 1 point.
- Perks
- When you reach 50 points you will get a new perk as long as you have a hunter missing a perk.
- The same is true for hunters. As you get more hunters, the more points you need to unlock the next one. Note, the early hunter unlocks are estimates.
- 1st Hunter = 3 points
- 2nd: 5 points
- 3rd: 20 points
- 4th: 30 points
- 5th: 90 points
- 6th: 100 points
- 7th: 120 points
- 8th: 130 points
- 9th-11th: 250 points
- 12th-14th: 300 points
- 15th and up: 350 points
- You can get 4 event, daily maze, and daily challenge tickets per day with a subscription. 3 per day without. Click the [ + ] icon next to gold and gems to claim your extras.
- You can get 2 victory chests per day. Victory is defined as 1st place in hunt / boss hunt. Bounty hunter can be top 3 (unverified)
- You cannot get them in a row. So you’d need 3 runs to get both.
- You can get 2 support chests per day. You get these by getting last place in hunt / boss hunt. Bounty hunter can be bottom 5 (unverified)
- You cannot get them in a row. So you’d need 3 runs to get both.
- You can get 3 victory dungeon satchels OR 2 victory and 2 support dungeon satchels per day.
- Victory is defined as completing 9 to 20 in normal dungeons (AM4/5 in abyssal? unverified)
- Victory chests give 5 to 25% bonus dungeon gems
- Support is defined as completing 1 to 8 in normal dungeons
- Support satchels give 15 to 50% bonus dungeon gems
- It's better to close the game and not trigger the satchel at all if you fail or quit on 9 and 10. And statistically better to not trigger the satchel from 9 until 14 at all and just use it on your next attempt.
Hunters
Abyssorb
Ancient One
- Improved tentacles 4
- Tentacles last 2.5 seconds (this may be slightly different based on animation). Improved increases the duration by 0.3 seconds.
Anubis
Ape Lord
Arachna
- Web Perks 5 Total (6 after awakening)
- Slippery Web 2
Axe Master
- When using tentacles, an additional tentacle will spawn when you have the multishot perk. But you will only get 1 tentacle from the default attack despite being multiple projectiles.
Beetle
- Attack speed perk increases Beetle's attack speed by 20% (as expected) but movement speed increases it by 40%.
- Big Boulder ?
Bunny
- More Rabbits 3
- Rabbits deal roughly 70% of Bunny’s damage.
- Rabbits deal 60% of their normal damage to dragon (just like phantom / ancient one / tentacles) This is no longer true. Hurrah!
Carnivorous
Goblin Engineer
- More Turrets 7 (26 total turrets)
Grim Reaper
- With 5 death touch you will gain 20 damage each deathstrike proc. 40 if he is awakened.
- Damage earned from death touch is not retroactive. If you have 100 deathstrike procs and get a new death touch skill, you do not gain 400 damage instantly.
- Daily Maze Guide - Episode 3: Grim Reaper
Gunslinger
Huntalisk
- Movement speed +10% (movement speed perk gives 20%, so half of it)
- Attack speed + 15% (attack speed perk gives 20%, so 75% of it)
- +0.2 poison (so on every 5th attack, there is additional poison on enemy)
- Attack distance +0.5 (distance perk gives +2, so 25% of this value)
Ivy
- Ivy’s trap can hit for 20,000% damage if she is awakened and it hits a target that is already stunned.
Jester
Lavamander
- Ashes to Ashes 3
- Princess Pact 5?
Leprechaun
- Despite not having a level 20 limit once awakened, the XP to get to the next level increases dramatically at 70. Making it almost impossible to get to 71 in a short match. People have exceeded this on multiple occasions however.
Ninja
- After awakening his debuff is applied on the first hit. So damage * 25% instead of damage.
Thor
- Thor with tentacle spawns get their own more thunders.
Hoplite
- Each bulwark perk adds to his total bulwark damage. Durable gives the most by far. To maximize your damage you want all of his unique perks.
- Quick Bulwark 2
- Durable Bulwark 3
- Agile Bulwark 3
Mutant Turtle
- The spikes in his shell get bigger for each turtle power perk you get.
Mech
- Fast Siege 2
- Improved Siege 2
Mender
- Enchantment 1 (Rage / Hastiness / Soldity)
- Element 1 (Disease / Explosive / Poison) *Explosive is NOT fire
- Thirsty Darts ?
- Feedback Flow ?
- Sentient Darts ?
- Circle Strength None
Mummy
- Mummy has a hard limit. At level 1 he cannot exceed 5000 damage without any extra perks. This scales every level until 10 where the cap is 50,000. Each Sorrow Aura will increase the cap by 50% of the base. One perk increases the cap to 75k. 2 is 100k etc.
- This means mummy will never do more than 575,000 damage (default + 20 sorrow perks). This would require the target to have 2.5M HP as well.
- Because getting 20 perks is unrealistic, Mummy will do better on floors lower than higher (Same DPS but more HP) compared to reflect hunters which scale with boss damage.
Necromancer
- Kraken tentacles from the set last longer based on your More Minions buffs.
- Minions last 1 second longer with Improved Minions buff.
- Minions last 5 seconds longer with More Minions buff (not 4 like the description says)
- Necro’s default attack is a very small AOE. If they are close enough together you’ll hit multiple enemies.
- Improved Minions 3
Ninja
- Pre-awakened: 350% damage (14 hits)
- Awakened: 450% damage (18 hits)
*After awakening, his first hit has the 25% bonus already. This means it only takes 17 hits to hit max.
Oni
Pirate
- When using tentacles, an additional tentacle will spawn when you have the multishot perk. But you will only get 1 tentacle from the default attack despite being multiple projectiles.
Skull Master
- More Skulls 2 (3 after awakening)
- More Skull Layers 3
- Enchantment 1 Total
- Poison = .25 stack of poison per hit. Damage is calculated the same as other poison source(s).
- Fire = +1 burn stack per hit.
- Ice: Slows for 1 second.
Samurai
Void Knight
- Frequency Vortex 2
- Weakness ?
Plague Doctor
- Toxic plague 4 (5 after awakening)
Raging Orc
- Each 10% of your HP triggers a boost in your damage of 50% and an additional 35% for each More Rage perks. Having 10% or lower HP results in 500% more damage without any perks.
Renderman
Tikitiki

- 2 perks requires 7 attacks (roughly 6.5)
- 3 perks requires 5 attacks (exactly 5?)
- 4 perks requires 4 attacks (exactly 4?)
- 5 perks requires 4 attacks (roughly 3.2)

Game Modes
All Game modes
- You cannot get more than 60% dodge unless you use dodge stones on gear. Once you hit 50%, the game will not offer anymore dodge. The most you can do with perks is wear a 4% stone and get 4 perks and have 64%.
Co-op
- You can only get 1 damage reflect
- You can only get 3 multishot
- You can only get 3 ricochet
Dungeon’s (All)
- You can click the [ i ] icon at the end of the game. It will show you the hunters you used (in order) and the trophies each earned.
- Maximum dodge = 90% (90% from powerstones) The game will not offer the dodge perk after 49%.
- Maximum damage reduction = 90% (81% from powerstones) The game will not offer the damage reduction perk after you hit the cap in a future update.
- If you deal more than 1000% fire damage, any % above 1000 will stay on the target as a burn stack and acts the same way poison does. For more information see this video: The Complete Guide to Poison Fire and Tentacles
Dragon’s dungeon
- Epic gear can drop on floor 2 and above.
Kraken’s something
- Epic gear can drop on floor 2 and above.
Yeti’s Tundra
- Epic gear can drop on floor 2 and above.
Daily Maze (Easy through Hard)
- The possible hunters are:
- Gorgon
- Spider Queen
- Druid
- Imp Master
- Rocky
- Sniper
- Captain Hook
- Life Stealer
- Boom Boom
- Gray Wolf
- King
- Ninja
- Engineer
- Hammerdin
- Phantom
- Gentleman
- Vlad
- Mad Doctor
- Ancient One
- Zeus
- Efreet
- Huntalisk
- Protector
- Mech
- Thor
- Grim Reaper
- Necromancer
- Skull Master
- Plague Doctor
- Roller - was removed (presumably because he was pushing monsters out of bounds making it impossible to continue)
- You can save and leave by pressing the gear icon in the corner. If you’ve completed 1 fight, the option changes from “leave” to “save and leave”.
- You can use this to flee a room you will die in. When you come back to the game, you’ll be in a new, fully reset room. The room you get is random.
- You can use this to get new buffs. If you level up and do not like your buffs, you can “save and leave” and when you come back, you’ll get two new buffs. This also works on insane mode, but only on the first choice. All of the other choices are gone, leaving you with only 1 buff! This is not recommended for insane mode. The next floor should have full buffs again.
- Bonus XP works on daily maze.
- Each fight is worth a set amount of XP. For example floor 1 gives 5 XP per fight. The number of monsters in the fight does not change the XP you get. If you have 20% more XP (1 buff), you’ll get 6 XP per fight on floor 1.
- In insane mode you can easily hit level 20 by the end of your run if you have XP on your gear and pick lots of More XP buffs early levels.
Chaos (Co-op)
- When you disconnect from another player, you will have regular monsters for a short while (150 HP instead of 9000). This is a feature not a bug. Presumably to make it easier to transition to solo.
Gear
Tentacles & multishot
- When tentacles have a chance to spawn, they will spawn for all multishots or none. There is no in between. If you have 75% chance to summon tentacles and have 3 multishots, you will summon 3 or 0. Never 1 or 2. For more information see this video: The Complete Guide to Poison Fire and Tentacles
