Badminton courts & Lobby usage & safety policies

• Court access: limited to paid players, monthly paid members, and parents of private lesson students only, access time subject to booking hours, approved drop in hours and private lesson times. Please note that parents are not allowed to enter the courts during group training sessions without prior approval.
• Footwear: Please ensure that you wear badminton shoes upon entering our court area. From the first day of winter with local snowfall, only indoor shoes are allowed when entering our club.
• Protection of Club Facilities: Any damage to the floor, walls, lights, and other public facilities is strictly prohibited. Violation may result in min.$200 fines or restrictions on entering the club.
• Please finish court rental or usage on time. A maximum of 20 minutes is allowed for warm-up and stretching before and after private lessons. Additional time requires payment for drop-in or court rental.
• The court should not be used for footwork or fitness training without court rentals. We recommend purchasing an all-inclusive membership for unlimited court usage.
• Food & Drink: No food or drink is allowed on the courts; only water and sports drinks are permitted.
• If there are 5 or more booked courts, spectators are not allowed to enter the court area except paid players or members..
• Crossing over court by court is prohibited.
• Children under 12 must have adult supervision on the courts.
• Non-club coaches coaching: must get approval from our club first, the court rental fee is $10+HST/hr extra compared to regular rates
• We do not tolerate any toxic behavior in our club.
• The use of multiple shuttlecocks and feeding is limited to our team members, unlimited play members, and approved private students（drop in or court booking）. Any other instances of multiple shuttlecock use and feeding will be considered as court bookings for non-club coaches coaching.
• Lobby: The lobby is for resting, waiting, or by reservation for team-building or parties. To maintain a peaceful environment, please refrain from talking loudly or engaging in spontaneous parties without approval.
• Food & Bicycles: No food and drink storage allowed, bicycles are not allowed inside.
• Fitness Area: The fitness area is for approved members and coaches only.
• No own training facilities allowed inside the courts, like weights, dump bells etc.
• The TV is for members to watch badminton games only; please do not use it for other purposes.
• Selling Badminton related products: only our own Pro-shops allows
• Shoes and rackets are only available for rent within the club and not for external borrowing.
• Pets & support animals policy, pls. see below

• Private Club: Access is exclusively granted to approved members and players, subject to our discretion. Violation of club rules or Private Club Guidelines may lead to membership suspension or permanent termination without prior notice.

Feeding machine policies

• Feeding machines are exclusively available for approved private lesson students holding a 50-hour court rental card.
• One rental court can only allow one feeding machine and 2 players, extra players need to play drop in fees
• min. 2 hours rental per session
• The court rental time is counted when even the feeding machine is on the court no matter use or not
• no feeding machine storage at our club
• no any potential or possible interest conflict with our club policies, for example for private students, not use feeding machines to replace private lessons

All players must agree to the below waiver before starting playing.

WAIVER:

• Canada Elite Badminton & Sports Academy, its coaches, staff, volunteers and/or agents are not responsible for any losses, damages, injuries or deaths of any players, either directly or indirectly, that may have arisen either inside or outside our facilities.
•  Canada Elite Badminton & Sports Academy reserves the right to remove the players from any event/ program if he/she does not comply with our code of conduct, is disrespectful, verbally and/or physically violent to another student, coach or staff.
•  Canada Elite Badminton & Sports Academy reserves the right to change the schedule without prior notice.
•  By registering for any event, you are agreeing to permit photographs and video to be taken of you/child for the purposes of promoting the sport of badminton and Canada Elite Badminton & Sports Academy. This includes any associated publications - i.e. news articles, brochures, promotional materials, websites or social media feeds.
•  You are also agreeing to receive emails from Canada Elite Badminton & Sports Academy about future events and news items.
• Please be aware that we reserve the right to terminate the membership and player status if there is a violation of our policies.
