This Middle Ages – Renaissance and Reformation history course follows the structure laid out by Veritas Press in their Middle Ages, Renaissance, and Reformation Series.  The time period begins with the fall of Rome and ends with the Reformation.  Content goals will include memorizing and becoming familiar, on a surface level, with famous people and events of the Middle Ages – to provide a knowledge platform for further in depth study in a few years. Academic requirements will include weekly writing and reading assignments.  Study skills focused on will include note-taking, organization of study tools – specifically a notebook, outlining assigned reading, creating and using a timeline and other skills as the need or opportunity arise.
